there are three different colors for chinchillas, black, grey, and white. grey colors can be in different shades.

there life span is amazing right?

basicly...
you live in the wild, or in a house with a human.

wild
(in south America around the Andes)
in the wild, you try to survive from predators. your main predator latly has been human. they have come in shortly after winter each year, and kills the wild chinchillas for fur. your food has been running short and you cant find enough food to survive. you find a group of chinchillas who have the same problem, and unnaturally, they form a small group in search for a safe haven, to raise there kits and away from humans. other predators try to get you along the way. can you survive the wild?

house pet
the first thing you remember is the light of the pet store you were born in and the warmth of other bodies around you. you grow up in the pet store, watching your brothers and sisters being taken away. your the last one left. you wait for days and someone finally comes and adopts you. your happy for this and you start to bark with glee. your put in a dark box. when the lid is lifted off the box your placed in a cage. days later your tooken outside and the human lets you run around. you play outside with glee untill a big bird snatches you and flys away from your home. later the bird passes another bird and they attack eachother for you. the bird looses grip and you fall to the ground and miracle survive. you dont know what to do in this strange new world. will you survive the wild?

your a wild chinchilla. you and your brother curl up next to your mother. you push yourself into her warm fur. your (whatever fur color you have) gleamed in the dim light. you look up to your mother "mama? will we ever find a place to live that is safe? from humans and preditors?" you say thinking of your father who was captured and killed by humans. your mother smiles and says well, a story about one has been passed for generations, but thouse who serch for it never come back. some say they were killed, others say there too greedy to share the land." she paused and nuged your brother and you closer "the land is amazing. it is all green, and safe for chinchillas and other small animals. no predtiors can get to you, and even better, no humans" she said. you sit down and dream about the amazing land. wishing you could be there...

Dislikes: Anything larger than her (dogs and squirrels an exception) anything that will eat her, unknown things, and loneliness.
Mate: unknown, but he was grey with white.
truterals:(baby chinchillas sometimes called kits): no, but ude to the pet store's ignorance in separating genders, is pregnant with two.
Personality: Fun-loving , funny, intellingent, but stand-off ish.
Other:she was bred by poeple who didn't care and sent all their chinchillas to pet stores, then along with her brother, was taken by an abusive child and escaped the box, not knowing until she had been gone, that she left her brother behind. As the story tells, a bird snatched her but when she bit it's foot it unhanded her and she somehow survived.

I'm excited about this! I love chinchillas. I have a chinchilla.

percys stomch rummbled. he was hungery and the food was short. he could smell food, and was following it. he jumped onto a low branch and sniffed. itwas close. he jumped down and started to hop his way there. he almost there... almost... he heard his stomach growl. he continued and finally found it. it was a trail of some sort with seeds falling out of a small bag. the seeds were white with black strips. he piked one up and sniffed it. he stuffed it in his mouth and at it. it was amazing! he spit out the shellof the seed. he took another one, this time cracking the shell off first and continued this through the rest of the small bag.he was full, the first in days he was full! he walked into the trees again found a nice place and slept
