Introduction
Deep in the shadows lurks something, a predator... A friend? You turn as it stalks behind you, lurking appearing from the shadows. Deep in the shadows. And then it shows itself, it is... The wolf. You are the wolf, you are the lurker but your not alone, you have a pack. So get to them, and continue your journey. As the wolf.

Rules
1) Semi-literate, have at least 3 sentences per character, punctuation, and clean spelling.
2) Have even genders, a male for every female.
3) No descriptive mating or birthing.
4) No fighting out of character.
5) Don't kill another character with out both parties permission.
6) Have as many characters as you can handle.

Personality - Rose has a nice personality that seems to match her frame. She is sweet, and kind to all except those who are openly ill-tempered. She can't stand someone who brags, as she herself remains quite when she can. She doesn't yammer on and mainly speaks when spoken too. She can be playful and fun but only to those, who are trustworthy and loyal.
She tends to be a bit ahead of the crowd, and can tell a lot from ones looks. Her history isn't like most, for hers was pretty simple with only a few flaws. She tends to reflect on the present and future rather than the past. She loves puppies and hopes that one day a treasure will enter her life that only she hold the key to, her heart rests on the thought that maybe one day she will settle down. Her strong yet delicate frame gives her all of the advantages because it makes her look stunning while, it gives her agility and speed, not including her strength. She isn't one to be messed with, and has never looked up to anyone.

History - Rose has quite an easy history, but we all have our flaws. She was born to a pack, of many, but they were constantly at war with another pack just across their territory border. The great leaders knew, that with the constant war food would be scarce, so they agreed to marry Rose and Simeer, the other leader's son. But Rose never got along with Simeer, and refused the marriage. Her mother as well didn't agree with the forced marriage, so her father kicked both her and her mother out.
Living alone wasn't very hard, they had all the food they could want outside of the territories. But Rose's mother felt that the life of a loner wasn't meant for her, so she made her promise to find a pack. And Rose did more, she found loners and became alpha! Now who knows what awaits her, but rest assured, she will be ready.

Likes - She loves to hunt and fight. Though she hates killing other wolves she isn't afraid to do so if necessary.

Dislikes - Heights and bragging wolves.

Strengths - She great at most things including swimming, hunting, and fighting.

Weaknesses - She is afraid of heights so she isn't the best climber.

Fears - Fire and humans, are her worst fears.

Personality - James is a lean strong brute, with a will to survive. He can hunt and fight better than most, and isn't one to be ill-tempered with. He is an extremely kind and loyal friend or mate. Loving towards, those he loves and any pup, he is well known for his father like side. He is very protective, and will lay his life down for his pack or anyone he loves. When it comes down to it, he is the kind of wolf you want to be friends with, rather than enemies unless you have a death wish. James showed signs of bravery from a young pup, his spirit and heart has remained strong throughout the years and his will to survive has never faltered.
He has a puppy side, don't we all? He loves to play fight and just wrestle with other wolves. But at the same time he has an ill-tempered side that doesn't show often. When he really fights it's life or death, he doesn't believe submitting is an option considering his pride is very high. He looks up to no one, and tends not to open up right away. He is very friendly once he trusts someone, and doesn't believe the saying "Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer." He has his own saying now due to the enemies of his past. "Keep your friends alive, and your enemies dead." It's as simple as that life is a game that must be played every day to stay alive.

History - Well don't we all have histories that are hard to look back on? Consider yourself lucky you don't share Jame's history. One cold night he was born his white coat making him stand out, he was laughed at among his siblings. He was quiet strong and even with less milk than the others, he grew up being the tough one. As he grew and was weaned he became the leader over his siblings, he was also very observant. And because of that he noticed a change in his father... And not a good one.
One day a usual day they thought, the air became still and the forest silent. Somewhere back at the den, a loud snarl had erupted through the air... It was Jame's father. He instructed the other puppies to remain where they were, while he left to see what was happening. He rushed through the thickets, covered in thorns by the time he reached the den. He stayed hidden under a bush as he watched the horrifying scene play out in front of him.
His father lurched forward growling madly at his mother, but his mother didn't fight back. She cowered an image James hoped never to see again. It all became bloody as his father killed his mother in front of him. For reasons he still doesn't know all his father would say was "She knew too much." So they were raised by a cruel brute, he no longer hunted so they had to hunt for their selves and him. One day his sister Koda was eating when their father leaped forward and stole her meal, she didn't fight back. James couldn't take it anymore he attacked, he barely hurt his father in his blind rage, and was sent running away through the thicket. Living as a loner for years has only made him stronger, and more deadly. But one day while he was running he met a loner named Rose, he didn't consider himself fit to be alpha so he let her take that rank as he claimed beta. To this day he doesn't know why, but something about Rose made him trust her automatically. So as he lies her watching the pack grow he opens up to others, and who knows maybe one day he'll find a mate.

Likes - His swimming skills, make him enjoy water, his speed makes him love running. When hunting one of his favorite things to taste is fresh elk meat.

Dislikes - Someone who gives up, one who takes the easy way out. He is always training alone, every day becoming stronger.

Strengths - James is a well built brute, with strong muscles. Making his strengths vary in hunting, fighting, and swimming. He also tends to be a quiet and quick stalker, which only improves his hunting.

Weaknesses - Surprisingly even with his strong build, his fear of heights makes him a terrible climber. He also tends to do whatever he can for she-wolves and puppies alike.

Fears - The glare of fire, and it's painful heat makes it his worst fear. He also hates heights for all he can think of is falling...

"I have a more stocky build. I have a lot of muscles, and gives me quite a bit of weight. This does help me with my fighting, and I make the best use of it. My height is kind of large for an average male, which does again, help me. However, because of all this weight I carry, I'm much slower than most. This does reflect poorly on my hunting and running."

Coat:
"I have a darker gray pelt than a lot of wolves I know, which is why I prefer darker areas. It helps me maintain a camouflage and stealth from prey and predators. However, my pelt is filled with a variety of tints and shades of the gray. You might find some of my fur more silver looking, while others more black looking. I do personally like the way I look. It's not the usual brown or the oddity of all-white like a lot of females. But it also isn't completely black like others."

Eyes:
"Now, my eyes are like lightning bolts lighting up the midnight sky. The stunning, electric yellow that they are goes great with my fearsome, gray pelt. Another reason why I like the way I look."

Personality:
-- "Well, I'd like to start off with the negatives and get those over with. I'd say I'm a very aggressive wolf. I do snarl, and I can be quite rude without getting to know you first. And in advance, I do apologize for that. I've had a rough history which has led me to become pretty rude, rough, and down-right mean sometimes. It's really hard to gain my trust as well. That's also because of my past. Also on my negatives, I can be quite bossy, and by the end of the day, you might be sick of me! I'm also pretty closed off. I keep secrets and things to myself which can burden me."

-- "I would say, however, that once you get to know me more, and I like you, you might find me enjoyable. You could describe me as thoughtful. I do care about you (Usually) and I do care if I hurt you (Usually). I can be thoughtful, and I can be nice. I'm pretty responsible, pretty mature too. I'm realistic, and I don't take things for granite. I'd say I'm a very grateful wolf. And unlike a lot of wolves, I have a great self-confidence. I do believe I can do things if I put my mind to it. I'm pretty hard-working. I definitely do not slack, and I'm pretty loyal as well. Though I do respect the ranks, and I won't follow orders from a hunter. And something about me I really do like, is that I do not give up. I'm a pretty persistent wolf, especially if I put my mind to it. I'm also quite brave and courageous. I get it from my father. Well, that's about all I can think of."

History:
"I've had a lot of bumps and lessons I've learned over those last four and a half years. But I guess I should start from the beginning, right? Well, it all began when my mother was pregnant. Her and my father were the Alphas of another pack. I was in her stomach with my littermates. I was born in the summer four and a half years ago. It happened when my mom and dad were taking a romantic walk together in the sweet summer air. My mother suddenly got extremely tired and was forced to lay down in the territory away from safety. Sure enough, it wasn't safe. My father risked his life for Serria, Mom, and I. A human with a large gun was waltzing through the woods when he found us. He aimed right at my mother, that nasty vermin. And he shot with a loud boom. Luckily for us, my father ran bit the hunter's shoulder and pulled him back and the bullet went straight up instead. My father jumped out of the way, but the hunter grabbed a knife and stabbed him in the chest. He was helpless, after all, my mother was too large and too tired to even move. He bled to death there, and the hunter passed out. My mother gave birth to us right then and there. It was myself, Serria, and my brother. My brother was born dead, however and was not given a name. So that means it was only myself and Serria."

-- "My mother name me 'Kade' after my father, and my sister 'Serria' from an old fairytale in the older days. She had especially liked the name 'Serria' and always wanted a daughter to be named that. It was decided that she would become an elder after us, her last litter, and just raise us. The Alpha position was given to the Beta and was decided that when I was old enough, I could begin training as a Beta. Serria and I were raised together until we were old enough to train. We were separated for our life-long duties. She went in training to become a healer. It's a decent job, but I was to be the Beta. That meant if the Alpha were to ever die, I'd take over. It was such a big responsibility for such a young, carefree wolf."

-- "I was trained roughly day by day by the Alpha. He was real tough, strong, and he nearly killed me by training me so hard. I don't understand why, either. By the time I was considered fit for the Beta position, I had way too many scars. But, I did earn respect. Within the next few months or so, the Alpha died. I was honestly joyous. He was pretty cruel to the pack. My reign for the Alpha was next, and I took over. I started out softly. I felt bad for them all after being treated like that by him. However, I soon found out why he was like that. Stories of his past was shared to me by the elders. They told me dark and treacherous things that I needed to know to run the pack. And I learned fast."

-- "It turned out that he'd been from a pack that lived a distance away. They were blood thirsty ravages, worse! They were disgusting thieves that manipulate and destroy. They do it for their own fun and join, to watch all the innocent die a helpless, brutal death. A slow, painful one that no one deserves but them. He was from there, and he couldn't take it, so he escaped. He knew of their plans and their deceiving ways. He was actually given the rank as a Beta so that everyone would respect him, and he could train them for the coming battle. He trained me the way he was trained so I knew what it'd be like and so I could train the pack. In actuality, he tried courageously to bless the pack, even if it meant cursing me. I grew colder and more hostile over those years."

-- "But, he was right. Right indeed, and I doubted him! I watched them tear apart my pack, kill my mother, and even the one I loved. I had to escape, and I still call myself a coward from that. But I at least escaped with my sister. She was loyal and faithful to me. She didn't deserve such a life! I ran with her a long, long ways, and eventually, I made it here, where I am today."

"I do not have a crush at this time, nosy."

"If I were to have a mate, I would love her and give her my everything. That means she'd also be my crush, which I obviously just explained I don't have."

"Persistent, aren't you? But no, I do not have any pups of my own."

Likes:
"Well, I like deer meat. Deer is my favorite kind of meat. You want to impress me, I like deer! Not many wolves know this, but I love to swim! It's something I do to get exercise or just have fun! I love the smell of the spring, and the summer breeze. I like the fun, nature, and cuteness of pups... I like a lot more as well, but that's what comes to mind."

Dislikes:
"Anyone who doesn't listen to me. I don't like harsh wolves. I do not like daises. They reek like vomit, to me at least. I prefer not to eat herbs or vegetation of some sort. I do not like to be very hot or very cold. Etc, etc..."

Fears:
"I do not have many, but I'm afraid of ambushes or surprises, hunters/humans, bears, pain, and dying."

What you look for in a mate:
"Hmm... Why? Do you like me or something?"

"Well, I want someone with a spark and flare. Someone who can fiercely love and fiercely fight. I don't want some sappy love story. I want someone who will be by my side no matter what, through thick or thin and to love me with such an intensity. I do want puppies one day, so I think a partner who is willing to bear my pups is a must. I will need her to give me honest opinions and advice. Since I'm a Sub-Alpha, it's preferred if she is a natural-leader."

I am very lithe as well, not too much weight. I was meant to run like my mom. Though I am strong, I prefer to stick with hunting because that's what my build is best for. My stamina is pretty good as well."

"Well, blind one, my pelt is a lighter gray than my brother. I also got that from my mother. It has various shades of brown in there too, and in some places, I'm more white. I like to think of myself as a pretty colorful wolf. I don't exactly blend in or camouflage with a lot of environments, but I guess snow is my best chance. This does sort of stink when I'm in a dark forest hunting. But I've learned I can use mud at those times ;)"

"My eyes are brighter than my brothers and are a stunning, emerald green. In the center, around the pupil, are flecks of browns and golds."

-- "Well, like my brother, I'll start with the negatives. I really don't this about me, so I'll count it negative: I am extremely quiet and shy. It is pretty hard to make friends as well. I'm usually alone... a lot... I also have trusting issues like my brother. Though I wouldn't say I'm rude I can be a smart-alic a lot, which means I can be annoying. Males also don't really like this one either, but I'll admit, I'm a bit 'hangy'. My self-esteem is pretty low, and I'm always telling myself I'm ugly and such. I'm such a girl >.<"

-- "But on the positive side, I guess I'm pretty intelligent and self-reliant. I sorta had to hunt for both my brother and I when we ran from the dying pack. I'm nice, I guess. I don't really like to make it hard for others or put them down. After all, I used to be a healer and helping was just my job! So yes, I'm also good with herbs if I need them. I have a goodish memory. I'm a pretty honest and loyal wolf, and I do take orders well. I wouldn't say I'm 'cheerful', but that doesn't mean I'm not happy. I'm generally pretty happy and generally in a good mood. I do not give up, at all, no matter what. I will force myself to hang on. I'm humorous and real. I guess that's a summary of me..."

History:
"Well, you all ready know the basics, right? If not, then you didn't hear what my brother said..."

-- "Anyways, I was born with Kade and my all-ready-dead brother. I was born out in the forest since my mother was taking a walk with my father. You should all ready know how my father died, so I won't talk about that. Well I was named after a character in a fairy-tale that the elders would usually tell to the pups of the pack. Well, when I was old enough, I began training as a Healer. No, I did not choose it, and I wanted to be a hunter. I dreaded healing the sick. It was always so quiet, lonesome, and very sad. Well, I became a healer and then another pack raided and killed pretty much my entire pack. Kade and I did escape however. If you want more details, look at Kade's history."

"Please... You really think wolves would like me? Well, I guess I could like someone, but no, I do not have a crush."

"No, I do not have a mate. Don't you think I'd have a crush if I had a mate?"

"Are you slow or something? No crush, no mate... Why would I have pups?"

Likes:
"Well, I enjoy many things. Hunting is what I really love. But I do love a lot of other things such as flowers! You do see those pictures, right? ;) I also like swimming. It is pretty easy and allows me to relax and just have fun. Not to mention that it helps strengthen my legs when I paddle around! I love long, romantic walks as well. I do like gossip and drama if I'm not involved. I find other wolves bickering amusing."

Dislikes:
"Well, I do think that verbal argument can be amusing when no one is hurt is amusing, but I don't like it when wolves get emotionally beat-up. I also don't like watching real fights with blood, teeth, and claws. I don't like drama when I'm involved either. Hehe... I do not like arrogant or stuck-up wolves, and I especially do not like wolves that like wolves for their rank, and not them."

Fears:
"I have a fear of snakes, falling rocks (like from a cliff), humans with guns, nightmares, fighting, etc. I'm a pretty soft wolf, I know."

What you look for in a mate:
"I'd like someone who can relate to me in different ways. I'd want someone who is tall, dark, and handsome. Hehe... I'd really like someone who is gentle, but can protect me. I'd like them to not get jealous if I just talk to another male in a friendly way. Of course I'd never cheat, but I mean I can have friends too!"

Rose

Stalking along the leaf-covered grounds, Rose's nose was pressed against the ground as she anticipated her kill. Lifting her head and letting out a breath you could see a little smoke puff in the air. It was a fairly cold, Spring day as it usually was in the dark forest. Maybe it would be warmer in the field, Rose couldn't concentrate on hunting so she turned and rather explored, considering this territory-although hers-was still new and unfamiliar. She hoped to find a pretty welcoming aspect about it but shadows cloaked any hope of beauty, Rose flicked her ears and trotted toward the field craving sun light. Basking in the warmth, she looked toward James a white wolf who had agreed to be her beta, she thought of talking to him but was scared out of the thought being rather bad with new wolves.
