Midnight tilted her head in confusion but shrugged and padded off with Hatori. She set him down gently next to the river. "Yes!" Hatori said in victory as he watched the tiny fish swim by. He swatted at them as Midnight watched.

Hatori wandered off when Midnight wasn't looking. He stumbled over Scar's paw. "Heya!" he smiled.

"hatori! i told you not to wander off" Midnight said sternly and padded toward him. "I'm sorry scar" she said. No matter the rank, she respected everyone equally.

"It's ok" Scar said nudging the young pup back towards Midnight

Midnight rolled her eyes and sighed. "you need a nap little guy" Midnight said, picking Hatori up again and into the pups' den. "awww" he whined but stayed still. Midnight set him down and hummed a song til he fell asleep. She then crawled out of the den and toward the river.
