Chinny smiled and chuckled a little bit. "Oh please, these packs are much to concerned with their own troubles, they wouldn't notice if a pack mate went missing. Besides, I'd love to have some company." Chinny looked past the meadow and into the thinly wooded area past it. "Elk, you said?"

Clouds jumped up onto her white paws, "Oh yes! Elk! 'Nivad, you don't know how long it's been! I'm sick of rabbits!" The white and silver fae pretended to gag, "Bleh!"

Sky smiled a little, "Yes it has been quite a while. Not for at least two full courses of the seasons," She told Chinivad. The almost black wolf gestured to a set of distant mountains with her soft tail. "We are from a pack ten sunrises behind those mountains." She explained. The fae shuddered. The elk had long left her home pack's hunting grounds due to humans, but sometimes they had been able to find a stray one. Those had always been thin anyway.

"Wow, you must have traveled quite a distance." Chinny gave them a soft smile. "The best hunting grounds are in the thinly wooded forest area over there." He gestured towards it and started leading them over. He slunked back a bit to make conversation with the two wolves. "Must have been bad over there. I've heard humans are starting to build into the mountains now."

Cloud bounded happily after Chinivad and her sister. The excited wolf occasionally went ahead of them, and then had to stand and wait for them to catch up.

Sky nodded her head somberly. "There was no more room for my pack. It had always been small, but most of whatever was left were killed when they tried to hunt the human's prey. They are huge, and delicious beasts, but it is suicidal to try to hunt them." The nearly black wolf sighed as she remembered what it was like when she was a pup. They were never full fed. "We had to leave, or my sister and I would of died."

Ceran matched her mischievous grin with one of his own. "Where to next?" He asked her. Right after he said it, he dropped his grin and replaced it with an anxious confusion. His ears flicked every which way. "Come with me," He told her and hastily lead her away.

Edme smiled at him as he looked around curiously. She waited patiently, then took off after him when he padded away. She looked at him and raised an eyebrow, grinning. "Where are we going?" She asked, looking around.

Ceran wasn't smiling "Um, away?" A loud growl came from the other side of the stream they just came from, giving Ceran a little skip in his step. "From that thing." He added. Ceran shuddered. Half of his pack was taken out by the kin of that beast.

Chinny was silent for a while, then he looked at them with apologetic eyes. After a little more walking, he asked them "Human's prey?" He had a hunch, but he wasn't quite sure. He came from a far-away area, but surely not as far as these two. Back where he had lived, bears had dominion.

" I think but he wouldn't go for an omega" Jewl replied

"That's what I thought," Az said. "You know Luka, right? He and I loved each other before our pack was destroyed. Long story short, he was co-alpha, I was an omega, we loved each other, the end. I'm sure it'll be the same with you two. Now who is it?"

Jewl smiled lightly " I never knew that and it's no one" she said
