"Alright, well I'm going to do things that actually matter. Good bye." Chace said as he turned from Ann and started to trot off.

Ann turned back around and layed down watching him leave as she cried to herselfv

Chace looked ahead. Trees. He wanted to find a clearing for his soon-to-be pack. And he didn't want to be by the owl. He felt a resistance, though, pulling him back. What was the strange feeling? He didn't want to leave.

Ann cried louder and ran into her den still crying

(He won't be able to do it, though, he's going to go back for Ann)

Chace walked on, but the feeling pulled stronger. He stopped. Why can't I go? I want to... I've got to go back... His thoughts said and he turned back. The feeling wanted him to go back. Was it... Love? With... Ann? It shocked him, but it might have been true. He decided to hunt, to bring something back to her, to make sure she knew he wanted to stay there.

Ann stood up and said to herself "he is a male, there are others, right?" Ann walked out feeling a little better

Chace caught a large rabbit and headed back to where Ann was. How would he go back to her? He'd left. She was in view now. He swallowed and carried on towards her.
