Kale's bliss ended abruptly. He tried to ignore the noise from far away but couldn't. His tail was twitching once more and he tried to keep himself from chewing on his mangled paw. When he didn't he felt stress but when he did he felt pain. So before long Kale was sinking his teeth back into his paw, chewing on the exposed, raw flesh. He tried to keep his attention on Shila but he couldn't. He had been glad that Sierra was alive, although now he wasn't. Now he wished she were dead, for the sake that she didn't have to go through all that pain just to die eventually.
"You shout it out, But I can't hear a word you say I'm talking loud not saying much I'm criticized but all your bullets ricochet You shoot me down, but I get up
I'm bulletproof, nothing to lose Fire away, fire away Ricochet, you take your aim Fire away, fire away You shoot me down but I won't fall I am titanium" -David Guetta Titanium
Between school, my pets, homework, art and life I have not been able to get on cs often, so please don't be surprised if I'm not very active.
Breeze got the owner to come outside and he ran across the snow. He grabbed his cell phone and started to call the animal hospital. Breeze's emotions built up heavily agaisnt her chest, not allowing her to breath. She pawed at the snow, knowing the only one she had is herself at this moment. She didnt believe in a greater being, or 'save place.'. She looked around for any other dogs, angry at Shila and Kale. Her mind was racing.
Sierra whined in front of her owner, yet it was the last of her energy. Her heart beats got slower. Her eyes began to droop. She began to fade away again, yet she was still worried, she yanked herself from the terrible grip of death just to fall into it again. Slower and slower her eyes began to close.
Kale lay his head on the snow, his ears low. "Shila?" Kale asked. "Why did Sierra hurt me?" that was the question he couldn't figure out. Kale had gone out of his way to try to be nice but was repaid with pain. He wasn't very good when it came to seeing through another prospective, social skills weren't his strong suit. But Kale wanted to know, he wanted to know so he could avoid it in the future. Or was it just a fact of life, he had been so ignored for so long now he had finally been accepted. Did being accepted mean being hurt? If so maybe it would be better if Kale stayed in the shadows, just like he did his entire life.

Sierra whined once more, and Flame immediately slipped underneath her, carrying her to the animal hospital truck. He jumped in with her, and waited for Breeze. Flame looked down at Sierra, who was blinking ever so slowly. The humans gave her a breathing mask and made her open her muzzle. Two cleaned the blood off her coat as they waited and another checked her slow moving pulse.
.: S H I L A :. I smiled softly at him, about to talk when desperate screams pierced the air. I jerked awake and looked around, trying to identify the sounds. I sighed, but they came back worse. Thin wailing like a dying animal... Sierra! I wanted to help her, but I knew if I went I would just be torn to shreds. I sighed and turned to Kale.
Some dogs don't get that you cannot make someone love you. You hurt her by loving me, so she hurt you back. You did it unintentionally, but she knew what she was doing. She purposefully made your life a living h*ll. And for that, I hate her. I said simply, whispering quietly. I nosed his muzzle away from his mangled paw and licked it with soothing strokes.
I have a life outside of CS, and Warrior Lion is my cousin ^^
(Sierra growled at Kale, and Kale attacked her, making her die. Then, all of a sudden, she came back to life and is now in so much pain she wishes she was dead. They are going to take her to the animal hospital soon, and Flame wants an answer: what monster would do this? Now Shila and Kale think that Sierra meant to make his life h*ll, when she didn't.)
Sierra panted heavily as her heart beat slowed. Flame sat by her side, staring out, seeking the monster that had done this deed. He howled. Whoever you are, big or small, tall or short, I will get you for this. His howl stained the air and left a minor echo in the south. He growled at the trees and at everything he could see. He hated whoever had done this.
{{ I'd really like Indigo and Cremor to become mates eventually. Or even Indigo and Angie. One of the two, we'll have to see... <3
Indigo, glad that Angie and Cremor had sorted things out, grinned at their offer. "I'd love to go mushing with you two," he murmered. His enthusiasm was genuine; everything had fallen apart since the team last ran. Kale and Sierra, Kale and Shila, Breeze and Finn, Finn and Flame... But now, running alongside his teammates, he would be free again. Free to run across stretches of icy land and never pause to take a breath, to dig his claws into the ground and leap forward as a cool breeze ruffles his fur.
Kale and Sierra, Kale and Shila, Breeze and Finn, Finn and Flame... The memories of all the pack's struggles would not get out of his head. Kale and Sierra. Kale and Sierra and Shila were the worst. Indigo frowned. "I'm sorry to hold things up, but I really need to check on things," he said. And then, without any further explination, he was racing away from the two faes... one of which he felt was 'the one', as the humans described it. 'The one.'
{{ We'll have to see... Anyways, my next post (or so I plan) will be about Indigo discovering the truth, finding Sierra, questioning Kale, etc.
