Finn smiled and chuckled as he fell over in the snow, he nodded at her and yawned. "Same.. Night dear!" he said as he licked her again, he then walked of into his dog-house, he fell down on his comfy brown dog bed and wagged his tail, he felt so happy and safe, he never felt this happy before in his life. He couldn't wait until the next morning when he will see his new mate again.

"Shila, I'm sorry, I just... just had a bad dream." Kale sighed. He wanted to explain but knew that it would do nothing but refresh the images of Shila's dead eyes in his mind. I lifted my head as Indigo approached, wagging my tail slightly. A smile tugged the corners of my lips up. I know right. I feel so out of place! I confessed a little embarrassed, watching as Angie approached, Her words rang in my ears. I glanced at Indigo and blushed beneath my fur. No. Is it really that strange for a male and a female to be just friends? I asked a little defensively. This whole thing was kinda ticking me off.

I relaxed and pressed my side against his, comforting him in silence. As he licked my cheek a warmth spread through me and my heart fluttered in my chest. I knew he was shaken, but I didn't want to push it. Kale, you don't have to explain. I really don't mind. I'm just happy lying here with you. I confessed, rubbing my cheek along his strong jawline. Finally, someone to confide in, a friend... a lover. I wagged my tail and whimpered softly, enveloped in my bliss.

Warmth and happiness spread through Kale. He looked gently into the fae's eyes. Love. He finally knew what he felt. Kale loved Shila, and now as he lay there beside her he started to see that. That they were more then friends. But, what would that mean for them? Would it mean that the time of playing together and laughing was gone? Kale didn't mind if that were the case, right now there was nothing he would rather do but sit beside Shila, looking lovingly into each others eyes.
