"What's wrong?" Sapphira asked before she heard a rustling in the bushes. The vet stood before her, the tranquilizer gun still in his hands. He was probably looking for Kale. Sapphira looked at Sierra and spoke. "Err... who is that? And why does he have a gun?" She asked and backed away from the vet.

Sierra gulped. "I don't know..." she said. She looked at Sapphira. "Let's run," she said and limped as fast as she could, which was pretty fast. (WB)

Sapphira kept pace with Sierra, went no faster and no slower. She wouldn't leave Sierra behind to be... shot, beaten, stolen or whatever that human had in mind.

(Err... I don't know what else I could say...)

Sierra

Sierra looked back to see that the human was off their tail. Sierra smiled at Sapphira and sighed with relief. "Ok, now let's find the right human," she giggled enthusiastically, for, quite frankly, she was bleeding pretty good. Her blue eyes searched for the human and she finally found him eating a sandwhich outside. Sierra looked at Sapphira. "Over there!" she stated and started limping towards the human as fast as she could, her hurt leg dragging behind leaving a skiddish trail of blood. Although her leg hurt, she was determined to clean it up so that soon it would be as good as new. Her blue eyes stared at the human as she felt so hot, the sun hitting her hard. She managed to scooch to the shadows where she continued to limp.

Sapphira, now lagging behind due to her attempts not to go ahead of Sierra sprinted ahead, her paws kicking up the snow behind her in each lope. She looked at the human, the warm face of the owner. She sighed, remembering how her human had given her up. Trying to forget her remembrances of the past the fae continued ahead and sat down beside the master, awaiting for Sierra to catch up. "Sierra? I'm just wondering, when will we go mushing. I love mushing." Sapphira asked, tilting her head in confusion. They were a sledding team, why did it seem they never went sledding?

Sierra smiled. "I do too, and... I'm not sure... there's always drama," Sierra sighed, then looked at Sapphira. "You know what I think? I think we need a new leader, because Breeze is insane! She's gone mad!" Sierra growled at the thought of the female. "I just want her gone, for she's the one keeping us behind," Sierra looked behind her, in the direction of Breeze.

"Speech" 'Thoughts'

The female dragged herself toward the owner, but kept out of sight of him. She listened to their conversations, sighing. 'I wasn't the only one who's emotions have changed... You accept Kale's change, and your own. But not mine? I did less impact then just one of you...' she thought to herself, growling angry at the dog. Sierra was breeze's friend before, and now just a teammate. She will never be an enemy, Breeze hated to have enemies. She only had basically one breakdown and everyone else had a bunch. She had one, everyone hates her. Kale had more then one, and now he is friends with the whole team! She didn't understand why they hated her, she tried to save Sierra, but her weak body kept her away from the fae. She was to slow to keep up at the moment. Her leg, still healing from kale's fight, made it worse. She wasn't the one who kept everyone behind. They have! Kale and Sierra.... Fighting back and forth, and now, after her break down was over from the sickness and stress. She is the hated one....

Sierra ran up to the owner. She barked several times, pointing to her ankle. She smiled and gave a thoughtful twinkle of her eyes and politely scratched at the snow. Immediately she was picked up, placed in a car and taken to the vet. She limped out and walked into a white room where a vet examined her leg.

Kale padded up to Breeze, his fear of her becoming slightly apparent. He respected Breeze and liked her as a friend but he still did have a deep down fear of her. It was less strong then his fear of Sierra though. Really ever since he was a pup Kale has been afraid of dogs in general because he didn't understand them, so once his fight with Breeze happened he couldn't help but fear her. Still he knew it was an irrational fear as he had attacked her first.

As Kale approached Breeze he overheard what Sierra had said. How could she say something like that? Maybe he was right in the first place... maybe Sierra was as much of a beast as he first thought. He had always felt severe guilt when it came to Breeze, he knew it was himself who caused her to change and it seems Sierra felt none. He looked at Breeze, seeing the pain in her face that matched the irritation in his. "Breeze... I don't think she meant it. Dogs say things sometimes they don't mean. Please don't take it personally, I... I don't think you're insane or that you held us back. You're out leader who always tried her best to help us... if anything I'm the one who held the team back. Not you, not Sierra, not Flame, not Axel and not Fin, me." Kale hoped his words would sound helpful but he feared that it sounded like pity more then anything.

Sapphira, who had basically taken it as her personal goal to try to fix this broken team let out a growl when she heard Sierra's reply. She sighed and walked away, finding no reason to object. Sierra was going to the vet, maybe she'll apologize when she gets back. Sapphira turned to see Breeze and Kale, both of which seemed just as taken back by her comment. She walked past them and trotted away.

(*Sigh* I'm getting really irritated. Just when I think things are clearing up, Sierra's the bad guy AGAIN.)

Sierra

Sierra walked out the vet. Her leg was wrapped strongly and she returned to the base in a matter of hours, yet her leg hurt very bad. When she looked around, there was no one there. Everyone was gone. She was hated again. She growled and kicked the snow, then walked into the forest. She slammed her head into the a tree trunk, but she still remembered everything.
