"Welcome to our herd" Moon said to Sophie listening then to what the mare had to say about herself. One more mare and their herd would be complete.

Night Fire nuzzled Fallen back happily before he walked round to her back and *Timeskip*. He smiled looking happily at the beautiful mare that would someday be having his foal.

Sapphire smiled at Dusk and gave a nod. "Shall we go to that meadow now?" she asked him wondering if it had been one of the ones we had passed through earlier.

As Cheveyo lead his herd along the edge of the river to give the other herd space he heard a whinny. He decided to whinny back so he did hoping the horse would hear him with he wind that had suddenly started blowing.

Galaxy dipped her muzzle into the river which she had finally reached without bumping into a single horse. She was now in heat and there was a wind blowing her scent everywhere, basically calling unwanted stallions to her. She clamped her tail down trying to keep the scent from blowing.

Quick Silver dclimbed slowly back out of the water and gave herself a shake, sending droplets flying everywhere. A cold wind was was blowing opposed to the earlier sun shine and she regretted haing gone was that swim. She shivered and turned to walk away from the river when something caught her eye. A chestnut mare and an Appaloosa stallion standing not far down river.

Rylee heard the answering whinny, and her ears perked up. She hadn't meant to actually whinny, but she hadn't expected a reply either. She trotted towards the sound, hoping she was going in the right direction because of the wind.

Ama saw Rylee coming her way, and she snorted as she passed. Ama decided to follow, since being with another mare was better than being without company forever. Just as long as she avoids stallion, Ama hoped.

Cheveyo turned around to see a mare trotting towards him followed by a second mare. He whinnied to them friendlily.

Rylee didn't let the sight of the stallion faze her, rather she sized him up in her mind and continued her little trot towards him. She minded her manners, for the time being, and whinied back a friendly hello.

Ama was tempted to turn tail and run, but she didn't want to appear pathetic. She nervously followed at a distance, not going as fast as the mare in front of her.

Cheveyo smiled at the two mares noting that one seemed nervous. He whinnied a "Hello" to them but stayed where he was beside his small herd.

Rylee glanced over her shoulder and saw the mare timidly following behind her. She snorted. Mares should be strong. Rylee continued her little trek to Cheveyo, looking at his small herd with weary eyes.
