Shadow sighed in disappointment as the turtle stopped and began to swim away in the water. "Stupid turtle." She muttered, returning to his side.

Artimis chuckled. "Well thats something you dont see everyday!" He said smiling

Shadow glared at the form of the turtle as it sank below the surface of the water, then let her smile return. "I love messing with the turtles." She said, flicking him with her tail. "It's fun."

"Yeah!" Artimis said smiling

"What do you want to do now?" Shadow asked, sounding a bit smug.

Artimis thought about it for a moment and then said. "I like you!"

Shadow remained silent, thinking. This wolf liked her? She silently snarled to herself so that he wouldn't hear. She had let her guard down! How had that happen? She had never come close to a wolf before! She had never meant to. She didn't trust anyone, that was the usual her. She flicked an ear, still thinking. What about her feelings? Did she like him back? Grudgingly to herself, she admitted yes.
