Teal let into the den and lunged at Chime and her pups.

Chase sprang to his paws and stepped between Teal and Chime.

Teal snarled angrily and tackled Chase.He bit Chase's shoulder and clawed at his neck.

Chase grunted in pain.He slammed Teal against the wall."Get out!"he snarled.

Teal raced into the forest.

Chase winced in pain and collapsed.

Chime whimpered, and curled protectively around Bliss and Rue.

Chase rested his head on his paws tiredly.Blood dripped from his shoulder and neck.

Chime silently groomed the blood from Chase's wounds.

Chase smiled at Chime weakly.

Chime simply flicked her ears, placing some moss on the wound to absorb any excess blood.
