Zira nodded and stalked close towards the heard, close to a lone female and she sprang out of the grass, chasing the herd towards Uzuri and managing to separate the lone female from her herd.

Uzuri ran for the lone female, she ran beside it trying to jump up onto its back or get close to it so she could grab its throat

Kito decided to move on he wasn't going to hang around a pride male and his females

Zira ran after Uzuri and the lone female, jumping and trying to swipe it's back legs out from under it.

Uzuri was able to move closer to its head when Zira tried to trip it, she grabbed its throat in her jaws and threw her paws around its neck to secure it. She held it tight and tried to cut off its air

It wasn't long before he scented another lion downwind. Instantly his ears pricked up and he stood still, turning his head until he saw her body outlined in the distance. She hadn't noticed him....
