Slater smiled and padded out of the shack. "Sure! If you haven't been around the terrtiory much I'll show you." Slater took a wiff of the air trying to find which way would be better to go. Slater waited for Ethereal to come then padded to the left. He walked slow enough so they could talk but fast enought that they could make it to someone in decent time. "So how have you been?" Slaters voice was deep and mysterious as if he had things to say but wouldn't say them. Slater kept his eyes on Ethereal.

Ethereal padded alongside Slater, pale sapphire blue eyes looking up to the sky and occasionally meeting Slater's eye contact. "Yes, I haven't been around the territory much," she confirmed, her tail swaying left to right behind her to the rhythm of her pawsteps. She met his pace patiently and observed their surroundings. As Slater spoke again, Ethe peered at him. "Mm, I've been fine," she answered. "A bit lonely. You?" She noticed the deeper tone in his voice and was a bit confused, as he sounded like he was hiding some words.

Slater padded along and seemed to be thinking a lot. He looked around and ever so often he would flicker his ears back but bring then forth as they passed. Slater's tail kept at a slow paced wag but when he pulled his head down it stayed down. "Lonely I know the feeling. No one wants to be friends with an Alpha, they just want my rank." Slater smirked even though the subject annoyed him. "I've been pretty good though, rather bored than anything else." Slater spoke the truth in these words. Bored was quite what he was. Even now he wasn't fully amsued. Slater wanted someone he could trust though and none had proved that.

Ethereal rolled her eyes. "Are others really that desperate?" she asked. "You should get friends even if you're an Alpha, but I see where rank-loving comes in." She was completely sympathetic; at one point in life her mother was the Alphaess of her own pack. All the brutes came rushing in just for the rank of Alpha. Lots of blood was shed that day. Ethreal shuddered lightly, eyes returning to the sky. "The worse part about being Alpha is probably the rank lovers," she assumed, looking back at Slater. "I'm truly sorry you've been bored; I have lots of sympathy for you there, at least." Grinning warmly, Ethe looked back to Slater.

Slater smiled a bit. "Oh, well yes rank lovers aren't any fun. It's very easy to pull them out from the others too. I think at least. I do not blame you for being bored. Not much has gone one." Slater kept his eyes on the ground until they came to an old Hotel that was broken down. Slater looked up at it and pinned his ears. He wished he hadn't gone this way now. SLater let a snarl out and padded forward quickly. Slater kept his ears pinned to the back of his head waiting for Ethereal to catch up after his little sprint.

Ethereal nodded in agreement to his words, but as Slater snarled she was pulled from her smile. Her expression turned rock-hard and confused, yet her gorgeous blue eyes were widened in utmost fear. She dashed forward to catch up with the Alpha, quite nervous with the following actions. "Slater?" she asked in a hushed whisper as if she was trying to keep a pup asleep after a long day. "What's the trouble about this hotel?" If anything, it looked beaten and the perfect spawning place for gangs.
