Shasta twitched and jolted awake. He had morning fur and he shook it out trying to fix it. He padded to some food and ate then perked his ears hearing peeps. He saw that the eagle, Skye, had her hatchlings. He sniffed and climbed onto the truck and getting low watching.

Sadie watched everyone.New dogs,everywhere.All of her friends have died.A tear dripped from her eye and she laid down and curled up on the floor.
