Tom quickly went and changed into his suit, grabbing his gas mask-helmet and hatchet. He scooped up rikki and put him on the dashboard then hollered for the animals that usually went on these trips. Smokey came padding quickly into the passenger seat of tom's truck and sat down Vixie stayed to keep the new horse company (lol thanks)
Rikki chattered excitedly as Tom steered the truck quickly towards the source of the fire signal reported on his radio. As he approached the building he stomped on the brakes and came to a screeching hault, jumping out and setting up warning tape and off limit zones to the public. Rikki scittered out, ready to go in through a vent if he needed to. Rikki was mainly used for gas problems since he could easily get to the problem and get out in time. Smokey patiently waited to be directed to the place she needed to go to carry out or guide people to the exit
pongo got out of the truck, like most dalmatians in a fire station, his job now-a-days was to comfort people since horses were no longer needed... he waited patiently for someone to come so he could comfort them.
