Dakota followed Corona up the hill, she was slightly behind Crispin.

Crispin looked around "What about that?" he looked at a cave that was in the far end of a valley that they were entering

Corona nodded and started to walk towards it

Once they met up with Carter, Tailo's lungs were faltering. They struggled to pull oxygen in and they seemed to not want to let the smoke exit. "Levi.. please take Saba..." The stallion lowered himself onto his front knees, stiffling a cough.

Levi approached Carter and Shadow with a smile, he was glad they were safe. As soon as Tailo had spoken Levi took Saba and laid her on the ground, she was still unconscious, " she was shot by the humans, but she's still alive.. just unconscious." Levi nudged Saba, seeing if she'd wake up yet. He lifted his head and looked at Tailo, he looked horrible, "Are you okay?" he asked.

Saba felt when she was on the ground, she tried to open her eyes but they wouldn't do it. She was still worrying about Crispin and Dakota, hoping they got out safely.

Dakota stayed silent as the headed up to the cave, now she knew she would never see her mom again.

"well..i guess i'll go look around and see if there's any other horses, you two just stay here" Corona walked around the valley

"Dakota im sorry.." Crispin hoped she would speak

Dakota looked at Crispin, "It's not your fault." she whispered, she was afraid if she spoke any louder that she'd start crying again.

Crispin put his neck on her's in a comforting way

She waited frantically as Tailo and Levi came back with Saba. She rushed over to them and looked at Saba in shock as a small trickle of crimson came from her wound. She looked at Tailo too and nuzzled him, "Thank you," she muttered and then looked back down at Saba. She nickered to her sadly.

Sensing something was wrong, he stayed right near his mother. He soon saw his dad and Tailo, he cantered over full speed and gasped at the sight of his sister. She lay there unconscious, but he thought she was dead. He raced off, as tears streamed down his face. He kept running towards the fire, until he could see the licks of flame as it ate away at the trees and grass. He just stopped and stared at it.
