Dust, dirt, and debris flew every which way. The young brute began to pant. It was quite hot outside, and his thick coat did nothing but make him hotter. He turned around and began heading toward the creek, it was the only way to cool himself off. His pace was a steady trot, he wanted to get to the creek as fast as he good, but he didn't want to overheat himself by running.

Malachite slowed his pace as he reached the edge of the forest. As he exited the last remaining trees in the forest, his pale green eyes flickered over to a wolf lying near the creek. The wolf had looked familiar in his eyes. The young brute slowly took a step forward and tested the air. He recognized the scent of the wolf as a fae, Echo to be specific. The brute dipped his head to her in respect, but remained where he was. "Hello." He said, speaking quietly and calmly.
