Saphira smiled when Voe and the puppies were reunited. She was glad the puppies didn't get harmed unlike Jacob. She looked in Voe's eyes and replied, "Voe...he's really bad and I should get medicine first, but..." She paused and looked in the direction Jacob was and said again, "I'll go get him and bring him here."
She then turned around and sprinted towards where Jacob was lying, bleeding on the ground. She padded over to where he was and said, "Before I steal the medicine, I'm taking you to Voe's kennel. I can't just leave you here.." She looked around warily.

(( Hmm...Saphira is with Jacob now and Voe is in her kennel with the pups. You could go talk to Voe or somehow follow Saphira to where she is talking with Jacob. c: ))

Jacob glanced up at her and smiled softly, "Alright.." he said, his joints seemed to click and buckle as he raised himself to his paws, a sharp pain shot through his body and he half collapsed, half leant on Saphira, "Just... give me a minute" he muttered, gritting his teeth slightly.

Sharp looked around, his eyes hard. He spotted Voe. Stealing all of his courage, he pushed himself warily off his paws and trotted slowly over to Voe's kennel. He mulled over what he could say to her, stopped for a minute and pretended to be interested in a non-existent bug, and acted like he heard a human approaching, but eventually had to stop stalling and talk to the other dog. "Voe ... Do you need any help?" He curled his upper lip into a sort of half-smile. A very nervous half-smile.

As Jacob leaned on Saphira for support, she gave a nervous laugh and joked, "Are you sure you haven't been sneaking in any extra helpings lately?" She then became worried that by the time she would reach the vet clinic it would be swarming with vets.

Voe was being drowned by the five puppies, grateful for Sharps sudden appearance. The puppies were tired from their outing and the sight of a fresh, large, male dog made them feel uneasy. They marched themselves into the bed and lay down, giving the mother-dog a chance to stretch out and smile. "Hello, to you, too, Sharp," She chuckled. "I don't need help right now but I probably will do in a moment; I could always use some good, intelligent, uninjured company." She snorted.

For the first time in a while, the dog laughed. "Alright. I'll be here." He wagged his tail once and then sat down, making sure to stay away from the puppies. They seemed uneasy of him, and he wouldn't want to upset the poor things. He looked at Voe and then at her puppies. They were all gorgeous, just like her. He gritted his teeth, pushing the thoughts from his mind. Voe wasn't his. He didn't need to be so protective of her.

Jacob took note of how nervous she was and he wobbled himself onto his feet, "Alright.. Let's go" he muttered, limping back towards base.

When they finally made it to the kennels, Saphira saw Sharp and Voe. "Sharp, Voe! Can I get some help here?" She said through clenched teeth. Jacob had leaned on her most of the way, and Saphira could feel her leathery paw pads start to blister.
