Eyes wide, Saphira rushed to Jacob's side. "Jacob! Oh my god...what happened? How did you get shot?" Saphira looked at his shoulder which poured blood. Saphira was afraid of what would happen to Jacob, considering; now the vets weren't trustworthy anymore.

Jacob looked up at her and a smile seemed to force it's way across his face, "No…" he groaned, a small red puddle forming on the grass, "It was Isaac's handler and that vet, they wanted the puppies for something" he nodded to the two humans before a cough seemed to shake his entire structure. Jacob hadn't really thought about why he was coughing. His arm was the main problem.

Her eyes were filled with worry as she said, "We have to get you to a ve-" She stopped herself from saying vet because she knew they weren't trustworthy anymore. Maybe they wouldn't harm Jacob...just heal him, she thought. Saphira shook her head. It wasn't the time for being naive, and she knew that every single vet was in on the experiments.
"I know why they want the puppies..." She said with a slight snarl. She closed her eyes and quietly said "I wish there was a way to leave...leave all of this."
Opening her eyes, she felt more determined as she had an idea to help Jacob. "I know how I can help you, Jacob. I just need to get inside the vet's clinic and er...steal some supplies." She said with a sudden bit of uncertainty.

Jacob laughed gently at her comment, brushing aside the previous ones. He would aske her later, Jacob mangaged to sit up and give her a nougie with his paw whilst keeping the weight off his shoulder, "Just… don't get caught"

She gently smiled and nodded to Jacob, "I won't...I promise." Before speeding off to the clinic she needed to bring the puppies back to Voe. She padded over to the small pups and said, "Guys, you have to follow me, okay? We're going back to Voe now." She had to act quick before Jacob bled to death. She started running towards Voe's kennel, looking behind her to make sure the pups followed.

Jacob sighed and rested his head on the grass, his shoulder was getting worse but Jacob didn't notice, he was focusing on the blades of grass that were one by one flicking up into their upright position, why did he miss her? "It's just because I'm in pain.." he thought aloud, casting a nervous glance at his shoulder.

As Saphira reached Voe's kennel, she skidded to a halt as she almost rammed into the kennel door. She folded her ears and quietly whispered, "Voe..?" She scratched at the cage door and sighed. "I've got your puppies..." The puppies went up to Voe's kennel door and whimpered. Saphira stared at the ground and slowly said, "Jacob was shot...I'm going now to the clinic to steal supplies to help him.." She looked at the cage door and wondered how she could open it to let the puppies in.

Voe had been laying with her head on the cold floor, eyeing her kennel door. When she saw Saphira she got up and opened it herself by reaching up with her muzzle to flick the latch over, and on her descent to the ground she pushed it open. Like any mother would be, Voe was overjoyed to see her puppies flood into the gate. She nuzzled and licked them, listening to their complaining and unhappy wails of Jacob was shot.. "What? Shot? He can come in here to rest up, tell him, his kennel is a pathetic excuse for a machinery room and I wont have him in there." She wrinkled her nose, canines peeking out from under her lips.
