Chief continued to wag his tail, wondering if the older shepherd was talking about Jacob. He spotted Saphira as soon as she arrived, his tail beating the floor harder. "I dunno, Sapphy, I ran into him. Literally." he laughed, sitting back on his haunches to scratch behind his ear.

Jaeger and JD continued to track through the woods, following Jacobs scent. Jaeger had found it, but it was JD that begged and whined until they finally played a tracking game where they could find something that existed.

The dog gave a light frown before shaking his hea slowly, "He said nothin' about where he was goin' but he did say somethin' about a dog named… Jaeger?" he replied, "Sorry miss" With little effort he jumped down the other side where Jacob had been, a small pool of blood lie stained to the grass and Tyke couldn't help but frown deeper, "But I could find him for you?"

Saphira followed Tyke to the other side where Jacob had been sitting. She froze as she saw a pool of blood coating the ground. "Jacob's hurt...no, how could this be?" She then looked up at the kind shepherd and replied, "You can help me track him down if you want."

Chief frowned at the blood, white tipped ears flicking back against his skull. He raised his left foreleg, tilted his muzzle to the sky, then leapt down off of the floor and into a ditch. "I-I gotta go find my, uh, brothers." he stuttered, giving the adults one last look of his bicolored eyes before he sprang out of the ditch and started sprinting back to where he had split up with his brothers.

Jaeger was stood three meters away from Jacob. JD was sitting beside his brother, head tilted, just watching. The solid black male stepped forward, flicked his tail, then asked Jacob with a low rumble in his chest, "What are you doing, Jacob?"

Jacob raised his head and a gentle frown set in, "I…" he gulped and stood up, exiting the cave, "I… sort of" raising his weakened foreleg the nasty gash was displayed and the older males ears drooped, "I can't stay near you guys anymore…" he muttered, hazel eyes catching the light of the moon. The black fur that coated him was just that, black as the night tha surrounded them, however the golden fur on his body was covered in both dust and blood. Jacob looked like a pathetic excuse for a dog but he didn't even care anymore.

Tyke nodded briefly, only to frown at the panda coloured males hesitation, "Wheres he going?"

Saphira shook her head, "Probably going to go irritate his siblings." Saphira then started to race through the woods and follow Jacob's faint scent. Even though his scent was fading, she was able to follow a trail of blood. She was so focused on what was ahead that she didn't look back to check on Tyke. She guessed he was probably right on her heels.

Jaegers muzzle quivered as Jacob neared him and his sibling, the larger of the two stepping closer to Jacob. "Why not?" he quizzed the blood covered shepherd, the copper scent of blood fresh in his nostrils. JD was visibly shaken up by the scent of blood, and as he walked further into the cave, he thought he saw something. "Jaeger...?" he whined, and the solid shepherd glared at Jacob. "You're alone in here? Is there something else in here?" He asked quickly, canines slipping out from his lips.

Voe lifted her head and stood up, quickly. She, too, felt the horrible sense that something was wrong. She had no idea in which direction she should go, so she sat and waited to hear something.

Jacob glanced back into the cave, "Yeah. It's names Tom and he's as good as dead" Jacob replied, directing his gaze to Jaeger, he felt a tinge of anger rush over him followed by a sharp pain somewhere in his head, a snarl erupted from deep inside Jacob and he didn't want it to be there. Slamming his foam coverers paw against the rock he turned to leave only for a sharp pain make him double back and tackle the solid black male.

Tyke was hot on Saphira's paws only to catch te soun of growling, "Saphira!" he called as he made a sharp turn and headed for the cave.

Jaeger didn't see it coming. He had turned to look at Tom, then all of a sudden he was on his back, all four paws in the air. "Get off!" he snarled as he snapped at Jacobs face. A panda-shepherd leapt forward and bit down on Jacobs tail, coming to his brothers rescue, pulling backwards and snarling. JD turned and ran, searching for the adults. As he ran, he howled and yelped and cried and barked, attracting the attention of his mother.

Following Tyke, Saphira made a sharp turn and reached the area. It was a place she didn't want to see again. Eyes wide, Saphira saw Jacob attack at Jaeger. She stood in the center and shouted, "Jacob! Stop! What are you doing?!" She was completely confused and didn't understand what was happening.
