Jacob sighed and shuffled his paws, "Yeah.." he replied. With a huff he rose to his feet, "I'm going for a walk" he said, his tail giving a gentle wag, "I'll see you later?"

Saphira gently smiled as she replied, "Of course you will." She rested her head on her paws. Maybe I should rest, she thought to herself. She was physically and mentally exhausted from...well everything that had happened so far.

Jacob padded off through the bushes, once he was away from both eye shot and ear shot his pace quickened. The shepherd bounded through the forest and stopped by the river, he cast his gaze down as a great pain shot through his leg. As he turned his attention to the source he caught sight of a gaping wound, a mixture of blood, saliva and is that foam? Huh! What a wei- Oh no..

Soldier shook her head and sighed happily not feeling her collar anymore. She growled at Shay, turning she headed up to where the three boys had come from, she might be able to find a group to stick with. She wanted to learn how to survive out here.

Breathing heavily, Saphira opened her wide eyes. She looked around and saw Voe in front of her, relaxing. Saphira had fallen asleep and was awoken with another nightmare. She sat up on her haunches and took a deep breath. She was feeling uneasy and had a pit of worry in her stomach. Her nightmare didn't involve her this time....it involved Jacob.

Jacob felt a wave of dizziness wash over him and he had to slump back on his haunches in order to stay up right, "How?" he thought aloud. In the dark of the night his question bounced of the trees like they were discussing an answer, but trees can't talk. Who was he kidding? With flick of his tail he rose onto all fours, the green grass was now stained a deep red and it dripped from a thin blade into the water. It pooled out, following the movement of the ripple caused by the drop. Jacob took a step back, if he didn't leave all the oceans would run red with the blood of those he loved. Turning on his heels he fled through the forest, the darkness eating away at him until slowly he became engulfed by it completely.
