[accepted. alright, i'll start the RP! ]

Jade pranced through the fields, the smell of cows and sheep and chickens in her nose. The evenly mowed grass swept against her paws and the breeze ruffled her long fur. Her tongue lolled off to the side as she continued to patrol the farm. She broke into a run towards the sheep. Barking at them along the edges of the crowd, she got them back into place quickly. She moved on to check on the cows grazing. Then she went to the barn, and next to the door was her shiny bowl of water. She bent down to lap up some of the cool water, then turned around and continued on with her daily work.

Rider walked around, keeping his head high. He saw a small farm and decided to take a look. He slowly entered, hoping Erin wasn't there. Erin used to be his friend until he demanded respect. Rider sighed and walked further.

Erin trotted around the farm he had been sleeping near. He smelled Rider, and made a note to steer away from him. Erin had remembered seeing a dog, and he recalled her name. "Jade..." he sighed, tasting the word in his mouth.

Shelbie sniffed around. She smelled her old pup-hood friends, Erin and Rider. She shivered. "Rider...." She growled. Shelbie kept in touch with Erin, but Rider, she ignored him. She couldn't care less if he died or not. What happened earlier in their life would stay in the past!

Zane was taking a nap in the barn when he heard a noise. He flicked an ear as he slowly rose from his sleep, yawning and stretching, taking his time. He sat, tail tip twitching, ears listening for the noise again. It came. The tapping noise of his food bowl rung in his ears. He leaped down from the hay bale he was dozing on and trotted towards the familiar sound. He meowed with pleasure as he saw the human who fed him tapping his bowl against the wall, like they always did to get Zane's attention before a meal. The little cat sat and meowed again as the brown pellets were poured into his bowl. When the human walked away he got up and sniffed the food, then began to eat. He knew Jade was out taking care of the farm, but he smelled several other dogs too. He forgot his food and went outside, jaws parted to taste the air. Yup, other dogs. Oh well. He shrugged and went out to find Jade.

Shelbie smiled and slowly entered the fence, but kept low so she wasnt seen. Her bandanna fluttered in the wind. She smiled to herself, yawning. She crawled along the fenceline. She saw a dog and barked a friendly 'hello.' She recognized this dog's name. "Jade..."

Erin saw Shelbie moving herself around towards the other dog. He rolled her eyes. She was always so open to others. "Being friendly, arent we?" He called. He smiled at her and saw her smiled back. "Gotta go, see ya around!" She called.

Rider saw Erin and Shelbe far off. "Them again." He growled. He stood straight up, walking towards the fence. He was the biggest of the three and would try killing them if they brought trouble. "What are you doing here?" He growled at Erin. Shelbie was out of sight, but he was angered at the sight of Erin greatly.

Jade's head turned to Shelbie. She could tell this dog was friendly, so she let her tail wag. "Hi there," Jade greeted her. "Who are you?" Jade shook her head as a fly buzzed by her ear.
