"Because your different, unique." Storm said, smiling softly as he watched her with his golden eyes, seeming to lighten up, the stress slowly lifting off just slightly. But he still felt better. At least he had someone to talk to, rather than himself. And he had done that many times, he even thought he was going crazy. But he enjoyed her company, while it lasted. He was a loner. And she belonged to a pack that will need a healer like her.

(Hey guys, I will not be on as much for I did get grounded, just letting you know.)

Storm nodded, "I know, so I trusted you..." He said softly, licking his leg, that no longer ached anymore. How annoying and irritating it was to have the legs injured, mostly when they are the way of transportation for his species, as well as used as fighting weapons and so on. Basically, they are needed in the life of a wolf if one wanted to survive. He grinned, "I see your cheerful once more Zina. Glad because you helped me?" He asked, lifting himself up slowly into a sitting position, despite how his tired legs protested against the movement.

"I see." Storm responded with a nod, flickering his ears, wincing so slightly as he had to shift weight from one paw to another due to that previous aching leg acting numb. Oh, how he wished that his legs would return back to normal, and he had full control of them. "One of my joys in life..." He began slowly, "Is having a friend like you... One that actually tries to help me, to help change what I was before..." He gritted his teeth as he felt the beast inside fully awake, trying to go and manipulate him again. But he would know that this war would never stop, till he had died, or managed to control him. There was just one tiny wish inside of him... To be normal.

"All I can do is try to protect to show that I do. I have no ways of affections. Whenever I do, they end up dead," Storm snarled lowly, lifting up his good paw, to stare at his claws, so sharp they were, glinting in the sunlight that the leaves allowed through. "And I wish I could promise you that I'd protect you. But I will always break them..." He sighed sadly, placing his paw back down, closing his golden eyes. If he could only reach to touch the darkness inside his heart and eliminate it. But he just could not, something always held him back, and he knew what it was.
