Dodger watched his alpha, the same depression on him. He sighed. The pack was so.. Unhappy and quiet. Without her, the pack was nothing. Dodger sighed, and looked at the patch of grass-free dirt he had worn down from sleepless nights. He sighed, and looked through the forest. He flicked his fluffy appendage, and grumbled. 'Red, the pack has gone hungry. There is no food left..' he said, quietly.

Serenity

Serenity awoke, and walked quietly out into the open. She had slept outside of her small den last night, for the peace of it. She watched the ground, the ants, the flow.

Red turned quietly, his paws making no sound, as if he had already died and was just a ghost or shadow. "We'll just have to wait then." He sighed, his voice pained.

Skye sighed. "This is ridiculous." She murmured, her dark brown eyes flashing. She did feel sad of course, Glimmer had been an old friend, but the pack needed a true leader. "I'll take you guys out hunting, lets check by the river. Theres always something there." She said with a sweep of her black tail.

Dodger growled. 'How dare you be so ignorant, Red! You have other friends and family! You can't just let us rot!' he snapped, stalking off to the river. He bought down an injured fawn, and dragged it back. He took one bite, and walked away.

Serenity flicked her ears, picking up her old best friend Dodger yelling at Red. She huffed, and padded off. She looked for an injured deer, and smirked when she saw one already down. She fought off the coyotes, and bought it back. She ate a bit, and left it. 'Dinner.'

Red didn't listen, his ears barley prickled. He sat there, hunched over, not saying a word, he blocked out everything around him.

Skye padded to her packmate, Dodger. "Nice catch." She said, looking over the injured fawn. Still, it was scrawny, as was all prey around here lately.
