StormCloud leant heavily on ShadowStar untill they reached the den where she sank down, her breaths shallow and fast.

"By the river sounds perfect!" Sorrellight purred, and took off towards the river, knowing that Lostlight could easily out run her, so she didn't bother with worrieing if he kept up.

"They aren't in the apprentice's den either... Do you think that they went back to the nursery?" Echostar asked.

HOrnedkit watched in amazement as Leafkit swallowed the whole leaf. "Wow! But doesn't it taste horrible?" he asked, making a face. He was even more glad now that she was the one that had eaten it and that he wasn't getting dared to do so.

Shimmer went to check. "No they aren't there. what about the elders den or the medicine cats den"---- leafkit nodded. "it tastes awful.... my belly hurts...." she laid down on her side. "i dont feel good."

"...I'll chaeck the elder's." Echostar said, begining to get a little worried. But nothing would be wrong if an elder was just telling them a story... Right? He hurried into the den and looked around and felt his heart fall into his stomach when he didn't see them.

"MAybe you're just tired... Should we go back to the nursery?" Hornedkit asked, tilting his head to the side.

Leafkit groaned in pain. "Ow....my belly hurts...." --- Shimmer went the the medicine cat den. "Echostar!" she picked up Leafkit and laid her outside of the medicine cat den.

Hornedkit blinked in confusion and followed after his mother and sister.

"Did you find them?" Echostar asked, racing out of the elder's den. HE sighed in relief when he saw Shimmer with the kits, but it only lasted for a moment. Shimmer looked... Something was wrong. "What is it?" he asked, wide eyed.

Shimmer gently ssat Leafkit down. leafkit groaned and coughed. "My belly hurts..." Shimmer looked at echostar. "i think she's sick" she looked at hornedkit. "What happened?"
