------
She dared not talk. Not due to the fact that the stallions were near, but the fact that she would say something she didn't mean. She simply moved closer towards Karma as she spoke. Allowing Karma to introduce her. She didn't care for the stallions at the moment. She simply wanted to be at peace and talk to Karma, nothing more, nothing less.

Moonlit Night

Moon :: Stallion/Bachelor :: 3 years old ::

Moon glanced at Karma and then to Tawala, completly ignoring the black stallion at this point. "I'm sorry to have bothered you." he nickered softly, wanting to get out of this awkward position. "And, maybe next time I talk to you it won't end so abruptly.." he nickered, looking directly at Karma, his gaze unwavering. His chocolate brown eyes sparkled slightly with amusement before dipping his head respectfully and trotting off a short distance away.

Duke looked towards Moon and snorted. He then looked at at the mare and dipped his head slightly, smiling. He looked her in the eye and gave a weak and yet sweet smile. "Want to join?"

~ There are just some pets, even animals, that you could never forget. You fell in love with them on first site, and they fell in love with you. They loved you because you were gentle enough for them, spoke softly enough for them. They loved you because you loved them, unconditionally. This relationship with them can never be broken even after they're gone...

I miss you, Lakota. May you rest in peace.

Moonlit Night

Moon :: Stallion/Bachelor :: 3 years old ::

Moon snorted, rolling his eyes. He tossed his head, but didn't move barely a stride away. He kept his eyes pinned on Karma, looking away fromh er eyes, not wanting to meet her eyes and get into yet another awkward moment. He pawed the ground lightly, and then sighed. there was no way she'd want to be with him anyway. He finally gave up and lowered his head to graze. His ears stayed pricked, listening and then feeling guilty for eavedropping. He stretched his ears forward every so often, even so. He swished his black tail, hoping Karma wouldn't leave.

Heart torts slowly, very aware if her surroundings, she had just only gone into heat, and she was not happy with her already hot temper, it would take the world above to help any stallion, she grins and torts on again, it was funny, her mother was a very kind mare but she never knew her father, so she wouldn't know, if she got it from him, she sniffs the air and looks around, a herd nearby, but two stallions, that was not good, she stops, she was not in sight bit her scent was in the air, was it too late?she blinks.

And Daylight Breaks

Day
Age: 7 years old
Gender: Stallion
Bachelor

When the number three was said Day stood there dumbly, figuring out what they were doing. When everything processed through his mind he stomped his hoof and then galloped after the mare, the muscles under his his writhing with each push forward. His ears caught the dull thudding of his hooves against the ground and he could feel whenever his sharp hooves pushed up dirt and grass. It felt good to let loose and run.

Don't Mess With Karma

Karma
Age: 6 years 9 months
Gender: Mare
Lone Mare

Karma flicked her tail harshly and listened to Moon as he spoke, her dark gaze focused on him calmly, "Maybe..." She said letting the meaning of that single word go unknown. Her ears flicked as she turned and retreated back to Tawala's side. In a quiet tone she asked the mare her opinion on the band thing, "Do you want to join his band?" Her ear flicked sideways towards Duke and then around as different sounds caught her attention. All the while she was aware of Moon's eyes on her, unwavering and making her give an involuntary shudder as if she were cold.

Coyote in the Shadows

Coy
Age: 4 years old
Gender: Mare
Lone Mare

When the stallion fell asleep Coyote wasted no time in finding something to entertain herself. What she had chosen to do was find a way to the top of the waterfall. After searching for a few minutes the chestnut mare found a steep, rocky incline to the side of the rushing water that at least looked manageable if she was careful. The mare slowly began to climb the steep incline, her hooves sometimes slipping and making loose rubble fall to the ground below and sometimes causing her legs to get scraped. When she made it to the top all the mare had were superficial cuts and scrapes that would heal up just fine. A victorious whinny left her muzzle and she reared up, coming down with a clatter as her hooves hit the smooth stone.

Being Different

Unique
Age: 5 years 2 months
Gender: Mare
Lone mare

Unique backed away a few steps when anger appeared in Spud's voice. His sister's story was heart wrenching and she couldn't help but try to condole him. "I'm so sorry that happened to her. I'm sure she would've been the prettiest mare around had she survived." It seemed nice enough to say and she hoped it would at least make him feel a little better.

Spud nodded, "I'll never forget her, or the coyote that killed her. I caught and killed that wreched beast though." He said, nuzzling into his mare's neck. He lay down on his side, trying to calm himself down. "All that blood, and I was left cowering in the shadows. She died for me."

"You...killed it?" Unique felt sick to her stomach at the thoughts and images that came to mind when she thought of a horse killing a coyote. Blood, torn flesh, a lifeless canid body beaten and almost unrecognizable... The thoughts slipped away when she felt Spud nuzzle her and then heard him lay down. The thoughts returned and the smell of dead, rotting flesh even began to creep into her nostrils. She snorted loudly and shook her head. She walked over to Spud and laid down beside the stallion, letting her side touch him lightly.

"It was the only way I could cope with the pain. It wasn't as bad as yu think. I kicked him in the head and that snapped his neck. No blood. No rotting flesh. You could tell it was a coyote still. The only thing wrong was the fact tat its head swivveled way to much, all the way around, like an owl's head.
