Moonlit Night

Moon :: Stallion/Bachelor :: 3 years old ::

Moon half-reared, teeth bared and head low. He shot Duke a harsh warning glare, ears drawn back, before stomping his hoof. He then shrugged, knowing that even if Duke was talking to these mares, it didn't mean he was incapable of stealing them if he wanted. He smiled smuggly, flicking his ears, and wheeling around to stand at the edge of the forest. From his standpoint, he could see the blurry images of Duke and the two mares. He arched his neck, lurking along the edge of the forest like a wolf. He snorted, nostrils flaring and ears still flattened.

{{StormofHolly: are you talking about these two mares?}}

I miss you, Lakota. May you rest in peace.

Being Different

Unique
Age: 5 years 2 months
Gender: Mare
Lone mare

"You better or else." Unique threatened jokingly. She cantered after Spud, examining his fanciness(C:). She tossed her head. "Where'd ya learn to do that?"

Don't Mess With Karma

Karma
Age: 6 years 9 months
Gender: Mare
Lone Mare

Karma huffed as she heard yet another horse nearing and she lifted her head from grazing. Her eyes were met with the sight of a large black stallion. She raised her head and watched him boldly, her gaze curious at why stallions were coming towards them in so little time apart. She shook herself as the stallion greeted her and Tawala and she pawed the ground lightly, "Hello."

(( Oh okay, umm they are on the plains somewhere >.< ))

"Oh." He neighed out, "I learned it at the movies. I was one of the horses that pulled the carriage for the queen there. I had to keep perfect or I would be replaced. It comes naturally now." He whinnied out, kicking it up a knotch and loping, keeping his head from jumping around and keeping his feet moving at the same time. "It's actually hard."

Moonlit Night

Moon :: Stallion/Bachelor :: 3 years old ::

Moon snorted, troting out onto the plains again. He rolled his eyes at another stallion talking to Karma and suddenly wished he had stayed with them. I surveyed the horses, but flicked his ears. The only mare he was fully interested in was Karma, and Duke was having a better time talking with her. He snorted, glaring angrily at the ground. He looked up and trotted out to the pool of water. It always got his mind off things. He wading into the clear, blue water and raised his head as it got deeper and colder. He rolled in the water, soaking his black mane. He tossed his head, watching the water droplets forms rippling circles around the point where they landed in the pool. He pawed at the water, sending waves crashing around his hoof. He smiled and drank some of it, flicking his ears at the refreshing coolness of it. He raised his head, ears pricked, and watched Duke with Karma again.

Sorry about that))

Duke looked at them easily, smiling lightly... sweetly almost. He put his hooves down in a slight stomp, but nodded. He respected the mares, unlike most stallions. "Hello, my name is Duke. And yours?"

"It looks like it. A horses head should move around when they run not stay still." The mare slowed down and shook herself off. She felt hot and the sun above wasn't doing anything to help that.

"Karma and Tawala." She again spoke for Tawala though it was involuntary this time just sort of a reflex as she had been so used to speaking for Coy when they had travelled together. "It's nice to meet you." Her weight began to shift around almost restlessly. She saw Moon pass by and her eyes followed him for a moment.

Spud nodded, "It's not all that bad after awile. It makes me feel important." He snorted and soon went into a small, hidden cave behind a tall patch of weeds and flowers. He nickered for Unique to follow. It was cold in the cave and he stood there, feeling the coolness on his skin.

Duke nodded quietly to the acknowledgment. "Nice to meet you to.." He looked down for a moment before raising his head higher. It was almost as though he were filled with pride he was almost scared to show. But he wasn't.. nope. Not one bit. "I was wondering if you two would like to join my band."
