Rose sighed, "Why on earth would you be so stupid as to rob a bank!" she said. There was no anger in her voice just pure disappointment.

"I was trying my best to keep you and every one else and the ranch safe. Those guys that I was with said they would burn down this place if I didn't stay with them"

Rose shook her head, she had nothing to say. What could she say? 'Oh thats fine you tried your best?' No. He didn't try his best and there was something different about him.

"I'm glad I am able to see you again" Luke replied.

Rose sighed, "Same...." she said watching Luke. What was different? She couldn't put a finger on it.

Rose nodded and looked back at April. Over the last few weeks her leg seemed to be getting a lot better and the vet said she could hold the weight of a saddle. It turns out it wasn't a brake but a pulled muscle from the fall. They were both very lucky. She rubbed Aprils muzzle and walked off looking for a horse she could borrow or Nemo.
