Freesia
I warily eyed the place that the nearby pack camped in. I was thinking of approaching, but then banishing it from my mind, because interacting with other wolves would only remind me of my sister, Free, whom I believed to be dead. Even so, I carefully walked towards the caves. I stuck my head inside.
"Um, hello?" I called. My voice echoed across the walls. "Is anybody here?"
I desperately hoped I wouldn't hear and answer, so I quickly turned and ran back into cover. A young fae appeared at the entrance of the caves. Why did she look so familiar? Then I realised: it was Free.
I took a step back, trying to hide myself in the mist. The next second I knew I was rolling, rolling down a steep, rocky hill. Then I rolled into the water. All this time I was calling for help.
The water became deeper, and I pushed myself upwards so I could breathe. I began to swim towards the rocky shore of the river, when a rock smashed into me. I yelped in pain, but it was cut off when I hit another rock. I couldn't swim anymore, I hurt too much. My whole body was aching. It was all I could do to keep breathing. I looked at what laid ahead and saw a steep drop. Waterfalls. Ignoring my pain, I began to vigorously swim towards shore.
"Help!" I yelped, even though talking made my raw throat burn fiercely. I made it to the rocky shore, and just managed to clamber on to safety before crumpling into an unconscious heap of fur.

Free
"Impossible!" I exclaimed. I caught a glimpse of my long lost sister. She took a step back into the mist, and I tried to call a warning, but she was already falling. I ran into the mist where she disappeared and stumbled clumsily down the slope. I saw a splash as she landed in the river. The same river that led to the waterfalls. I ran along the shore, and saw her lying unconscious on the pebbles. I ran over and pulled her onto my back. I began half dragging, half lifting her back to camp.
