Jace perked his ears, far away now he heard a small voice. "Benny?" he asked out loud


Paisley looked at Willow "It hurts... Am I going to die?" she asked him and closed her eyes

Sam turned and walked out of the barn as the vet pulled up in his truck

Willow

Willow shook his head. "No, I think you'll be okay. Your human is calling the vets so hopefully they could get you fixed up. If you were gonna die you'd probably be dead by now. So long as they didn't shoot you in the chest you should be fine, and if they did then you still won't die since if it hit your heart you'd be dead by now. Your bleeding quite a bit though, so am I so getting the wounds stitched up by the vets will be important." He explained to the fae, gesturing towards his two bullet wounds, one on his shoulder and one on his leg. The coonhound smiled warmly at Paisley and nuzzled her, half expecting to be rejected.

Paisley let out a smile and thumped her tail against the soft hay. Hearing Sam and the vet walk in she closed her eyes again and breathed

The vet, Scott, opened the stall door and smiled at the two dogs "He's new, when did you get him, Sam? He a hunting dog?" he asked and walked over to them, setting his bag down he knelt beside Paisley and opened her eyes, shining a flashlight into them he then inspected her body. Finding the bullet wound in her lower rib cage he inspected it.

Sam shrugged "He's hurt too. I don't know where he came from, or what he's doing here... But it seems he's attached to Paisley there, so he's a Welcom visitor." he said "Also the pup. I think he came with this coon here" he said and looked around again "Heaven knows where he is though" he let out a chuckle and leaned on the stall door

Willow

Willow looked up at Sam cautiously, still unsure of whether or not he should trust this human. His instincts screamed that all humans were horrible beasts like the fight masters yet he knew that there was no way that was true. Whether or not Sam was trustworthy he was anything but a fight master, or something just as horrid. The vet though, Willow didn't know so he was ready to strike -not that he would in the condition he's in but just in case- if need be.

Sam watched Willow "You better be careful though with him around Paisley.." Sam said and smiled at the two dogs

Paisley opened her eyes and looked at Scott "Is he here for the cows?" she asked drowsily and thumped her tail again.

Scott looked at Willow "I'll be careful" he spoke to Sam "He's injured too.. You want me to fix him up as well?" he asked and went into his bag. Pulling out a syringe he filled it with a clear liquid. "This is a sedative" he explained to both Sam and Willow, he believed just as Sam did that animals could understand partly, if not fully what you were saying. "Thus will put her to sleep so it doesn't hurt her when I fix her wound up" he said and Injected it into her forearm

Paisley wagged her tail at Scott then drowsily looked at Willow "You're my angel... Protect me, okay?" she said just before closing her eyes and passing out

Willow

"I promise, I will. I will always protect you." Willow licked her on the forehead, looking warmly at the fae before him. "I love you, Paisley." He whispered to her, although he knew she had already passed out. The coonhound turned to look at the vet and backed away, allowing him to pick her up. He would come though, he would never leave Paisley. Never.


Benny

Benny looked at Jace. "We... we were looking for Lyric but a poacher came! He shot Willow and Paisley and was about to shoot the owner until the new people came and took him away! I... I wanted to help but... but I didn't know what to do!" The pup wailed, his body trembling.

[Rummy]

Jace walked over and licked Benny "It's okay... It's okay Benny" he tried to comfort the pup

Scott looked at Sam "I'm gonna have to take Paisley to the office.. Him too, but he can walk." he said "I'll take them both and fix them up. You can pick them both up tomorrow" he said and picked Paisley up. Carrying her to the car he opened the back door and set her on the seat. Looking at Willow he stepped aside to see if he could get into the truck.

Sam nodded and followed "I'll pick them both up tomorrow then" he said and put his hands in his pocket "And I'll look for that pup" he looked around again "Hope he's not hurt.." Sam said sadly

Willow

Willow followed the man into the truck, his bad leg dragging on the pavement as he walked. It hurt to walk but he wouldn't leave Paisley. He scrambled his way into the truck and curled up inside, beside Paisley.


Benny

"No... no it isn't alright. I... I ran away but... but for all I know they could have been killed." Benny whimpered, remembering how he had ran away before even checking if the two were alright.

(Willow, Paisley and Benny went off looking for Lyric but ran into a poacher. Benny raced away when he saw the poacher as fast as he could and is now speaking to Jace about what had happened. Willow tried to attack the poacher but ended up getting shot twice, once in his injured shoulder and once more in his leg. Paisley pinned the poacher down as her owner came but the poacher got up and tried to shoot her owner. Paisley attacked him but ended up getting shot as well, but then the police came and took the poacher away. Willow spoke to Paisley, telling her that she'd be alright and then the vet came and gave Paisley a sensitive to make her fall asleep. While she was asleep Willow admitted his love for her and promised he'd always protect her no matter what. Now the two are in the back of the vet's truck, going to go be taken to the vets.)
