White Fang sighed and shook his head, he wasn't fond of those that jumped to conclusions. He wasn't in the mood to fight nor did he want to, but if he was provoked then he would have no other choice. He watched as Camone left and then his gaze fell towards Dream. "His feelings for you are still strong Dream, why do you think he cares so much about you." He said softly.

Lilith dropped the carcass when they reached camp, her previous anger at herself coming to a boil again at just the presence of Void. His hesitation was enough to tell her that he didn't care past having a mate as only a means of having pups. As much as she hated to think that about him, his behavior told her it was true. She couldn't be soft about this, softness is what had hurt her last time. She had to be tough.

Dream nodded, supposing he was right like always. "Yeah..but I can protect myself.." She grumbled, but was some-what flattered he cared enough. No one ever had. "So...where's Dove?" She asked bluntly, not darig to meet his eyes. Instead, they found their way to the cold, dark forest.

Void found Calla's gaze on him and shot her a small smile, the best he could muser for now. The brute's forest green eyes seemed dull, like a light switched turned off. The lights are off, yet someone is home. Descisions, descisions. His heart and mind were locked in battle over Lilith, who seemed to hate him.

Lilith stalked towards her den, eyes tightly shut. She'd let him in. She couldn't deny it to herself, no matter how she tried. She'd been careless and let Void into her heart. She'd given him something made of glass, glued together, missing so many pieces. He'd shattered it a second time. She wished she could leave the pain behind, just accept that Void didn't want her, he didn't care. But those thoughts were what brought the pain, and there was no escape.

"Asleep." He said and motioned his head towards the sound asleep Dove. He smirked softly and flicked his ears. "So I see you finally got me to smile, congratulations." He said really meaning it, it was the first time he had smiled since he was a pup. He noticed her avoid eye contact and wondered why, his icy blue eyes shined with an emotion in them but the emotion was currently unreadable.

Dream smiled at this, a genuine one this time. "I am very proud of myself for having achieved this goal." She giggled, paw tracing in the mud until it just barely grazed his. Funny, how he smiled when she was sad. Funny, how he made it all go away. Thoughts of her mother slid away, yet Void caught her eye, and he looked miserable. He should be. She thought about Lilith and his reaction.

Lilith entered her den, glad to not have to share with the other wolves as she curled up in the far corner. She pulled her mask off, teal markings glimmering even in the low light of the den against her pitch black fur. Closing her eyes, lashes brushing the tops of her cheekbones, she tried to push away at the world and find some of the happiness she had been denied.

White Fang found himself smiling again because he couldn't help it, to tell the truth for him it felt good to smile again. "You should be I haven't smiled since I was a pup." He said. A feeling overwhelmed him though he wasn't sure what it was since he's never felt it before. He shook it off and follow Dream's gaze to see that she was staring at Void. He then remembered the conflict between the brute and Lilith. He looked back over at Dream and sighed, no one could do anything to fix what happened besides those two.
