Kaida laid her ears back as far as they could go when he began to kick, reopeninv some of her old. It's that had only recently closed and stopped bleeding, and giving her new ones. She did not want to get up; she was tired and the rock in her foot would make it hard to walk fast or run anywhere. Though soon she would have to stand; she couldnt stay lieing down forever, and when she did stand, Maricus would be their to stop her from leaving. Either way she was stuck. A low snort escaped her muzzle, closing her eyes for a moment.

Kaida snorted quietly, looking up at him. "Quit kicking me." She said, feeling his hoof against her neck. Why couldn't he see that she was already hurt enough, and simply tired? She let out a rush of air through her nose before she began to move; aiming to roll into a spot where she wasn't laying on her side anymore.

Alejandro looked away from the mare and perked his ears as he heard two horses through the trees. He could slightly make them out, but stayed where he was, not wanting to intrude. He could barely see the forms of one lying, and the other standing, kicking out at the one on the ground. He layed his ears back but just watched.
