"I go catch a mouse...just for you?" The tom smiled

TigerLily looked at Ashfur. "Oh,no need to repay me" She said with a slight purr.

"No, I insist." He purred nudging her shoulder with his head playfully
"Next time I catch a mouse, it's yours" Ashfur said with a sparkle in his relaxed, kind gray eyes

TigerLily smiled a bit. "Ok,thanks" She said with a tiny blush.

Ashfur paused and looked back at her when she blushed
"does she....like me?" Ash pondered staring in to her eyes, Almost like staring in to her soul. He turned around to face her and felt his heart beating quicker
"TigerLily....Have you ever felt lonely?" he asked flicking his tail back and forth

"Well,yes,I have felt lonely" Said TigerLily with a sigh.
