"Then maybe we should bring her back to the station and see if we can find her pups.." Jim told her. He opened his door, climbing across the center consol and unlocking the glovebox. He rumaged through some of the junk, and then pulled down the flap to a secret compartment, holding a small wooden box. He opened it, pulling out a golden dog whistle. Blowing hard, a silent noise came out. He put it all away, stepping back.
Jasmine and Hyacinth began to whine and bark uncontrollably, leaping at Jim.
Ringo's ears perk and he jumped to his paws, letting out a loud howl, although it wouldn't be heard by Jim. He looked around before leaping up and over the top of the kennel, landing on all fours. He raced through all the dog door and out into the front yard. Ringo sprinted up the gravel road, and down the street, watching the cars before crossing. He barked as he closed in on Jim.
Jim's face lit up with a big smile. He patted his chest for the dog to jump up.
Ringo slowed just a bit, leaping into Jim's arms and smothering him with kisses.
Jim loved on the dog for a minute, then set him on the ground,"Ready for some tracking bud?" He opened the toolbox in the back of his truck, pulling out a 20ft tracking line and a GPS collar. He patted for the dog to get up on the tailgate, putting the collar on. Jim turned the GPS on and gave the command,'Scent'. He held Oasis's muzzled head, letting Ringo sniff her, catching scent of the puppies. He soon gave the command,'Track and find', letting the dog loose. He gripped the tracking leash in his hand, scrunching it up and putting it back. He looked at Katniss, closing the tailgate,"Comon. If she has pups, he'll find them." Jim got in the truck, turning it on as he waited for Katniss.
