She trotts to the stream to lap up water when she see's Zeth and stops "Oh, hi there Alpha." She smiles and nods her head "How are you?" She says sweetly still smiling

Whenever a wolf walked in front of her, she had to kneel. Whenever the Alpha addressed her, she had to answer him with "yes, Alpha" every time. Being an Omegaess stucked. Ever shook dust out of her pelt from the last time she had knelt. Her black fur was constantly dotted with the ground's little sediments such as dirt, sand, or dust from kneeling. She couldn't remember why she was an Omega, but it was a problem with her mother and father being together, resulting in her mother an Omegaess and then Ever herself. The fae was questioning where Zeth was; she wanted to go hunt or practice fighting or anything just to be alone. Maybe she'd earn more respect that way? Shaking off the thoughts, as she couldn't bear thinking about her mother, she padded off into the dense forest.

Ever's tail swayed back and forth behind her as her eyes scanned the area. Blinking her ocean blue eyes to adjust to the dimmer lighting than the bare clearing, the surroundings became more clear and the scent of the pack wolves and forest mingled together became sharper. Determined to find a little pond she visited in times of hardship in the large forest, she peered left and right before tearing through the brush, hopping slightly to avoid making any loud or abrupt noises. Ever skidded to a halt in a pile of dead leaves next to the pond, sighing softly as she reached her muzzle down into the pond and gently withdrew a dead leaf from the clear water. The pond was the one place where she could be herself and feel as if her mother was right next to her without having to bow or do any silly Omega duties. The only entertaining one was pupsitting, but as the pack had no pups at the moment, she'd have to practice on rocks if she got that desperate.

Shnuckouf

The brute was just padding back to camp, when he caught Ever's scent. Deciding to follow it for some unknown reason which was most likely linked to the hideous vulnerability and boredom that closed in around him when his sister was gone, Shnuckouf loped softly through the undergrowth, until the scent strengthened and the shaggy furred male found himself practically breathing down Ever's neck.
Shnuck didn't know what to think of Ever, or how to act around the fae. She was Omega, and so it was technically his right to poke her- both physically and with rude comments. But....on the other paw, the brute was horribly aware that if anything happened to Amahlae, he could quite easily drop down to the same position at her. Shnuckouf had never been good at anything except thinking, and that didn't count for much if your rank was decided based on your physical skills, rather tha mental.
"Morning, Ever." Shnuckouf growled, but his attempt at a majestic rumble turned out to be a low, barely audiable groan. Clearing his throat, Shnuck tried a more ordinary approach to a greeting. "Morning."

Amahlae

"Right."
The fae loped off, losing her mind in the greenery which surrounded her. Her muzzle was scraped once or twice by a twig which stuck out into the trail she was haring along, but Amahlae barely noticed the fresh scratch lacing across her nose. Suddenly, the fae skidded to a hault, leaves billowing up around her. "I can smell something." She announced.

Ever yelped softly in surprise as Schnuckouf mumbled a greeting. For a moment she was tempted to refuse submission and just have a friendly conversation with the brute but that'd be punishment later, from not eating to being banished from the pack. Questioning herself in her head, she kneeled, her head dipping low as she eyed the ground precariously. She really hated her mother whenever she had to kneel, but the fae was still unbelievably proud of her deceased mother and the duties she had accomplished in her short life. Having living only five years, her mother was young when she was murderered.

The tip of Ever's tail dipped into her pond and she left it, frustrated with how Omegas had to act. It wasn't even that necessary for a wolf punished for their parents' doings. However, it was the law of the pack, and Ever wouldn't argue with that. "Good morning, Schnuckouf," the Omegaess greeted at his second attempt at the greeting. The first one was fine, but apparently not to the brute. "Did you sleep well?" Attempting a try at being polite, Ever promised herself she'd be rude later. For a shy fae, she sometimes had cruel thoughts.
