Shadowpaw looked back at Rainfall and said, "Are you sure?"

Bluepaw nodded. "Yes. Come on, it'll be fun." She mewed thoughtfully. She looked towards the entrance of the den, then back at Shadowpaw.

[vulpine,]

Rainfall wished she could see the reassuring gaze Tigerstar was probably giving her. She knows what the clan leader had said was true, and tried unsuccessfully to push away her doubt. The medicine cat relaxed slightly as she felt a tail brush her shoulder. Rainfalls ear twitched at hearing Tigerstar's last sentence. "Well, no, I hope not.." She trailed off at hearing the two apprentices shifting around in the den, it seemed like they were getting closer. The light brown tabby wrapped her tail around her paws and briefly closed her pale green eyes.

Shadowpaw walked over to Rainfall; trying not to hurt her self. She came to a stop when she approached Rainfall and said, "I'm going swimming with Bluepaw. She say's she knows where to go that would be good for it, and it isn't the river." She waits for a reply to come from Rainfall before she goes off into the territory with Bluepaw.

Rainfall nodded. "Be careful, and stay in the shallow water. I want you to be able to touch the ground of you need to." She reopened her eyes and turned her head towards Shadowpaw, wondering silently if they should have a warrior go with them.They should be fine, if they stay in calm water. A small smile appeared as she told them, "Other than that, have fun."

Shadowpaw runs off, more like limps off, to Bluepaw. "Lead the way," she mewed in a very quiet voice. Shadowpaw was nervous; she never really hanged out with any cat before that was her age. This was entirely new to her. She continued to follow Bluepaw on their search for a calm water stream.

Tigerstar twitched his ears. "Then as long as you feel you've done nothing wrong, I'm sure you haven't. I'm sure Starclan have a good reason for not sharing dreams with you. For now, just relax. If you learn anything new about why they are not speaking to us, let me know. But i am sure it is nothing to worry about." He said calmly. He watched the two apprentices make their way out the entrance. "Be careful!" He called after them, and fixed his gaze back on Rainfall.

Bluepaw flicked her tail, to show he had heard Tigerstar before she disappeared with Shadowpaw through the entrance. She shook her pelt lightly, and nodded to her friend, taking the lead. She turned and looked back at her. "Let me know if you need to stop. I don't want you to injure your side more." She mewed kindly, and sniffed the air before she made another move, aware that the dog may have come back, and that any other dangers may be lurking in the forest. Her almond brown eyes shone brightly as she looked around at the forest around her, the green leaves above shining brightly in the greenleaf sunlight. Her mouth watered slightly as she caught the scent of prey, and was tempted to stop and hunt.

Shadowpaw walked right beside Bluepaw. Her ears turned in every direction for sounds she hasn't heard. The scent of prey approached Shadowpaw's nose, but she ignored it. Her leg hurt way too much to try to hunt and she didn't even know how to hunt. She waited for Bluepaw to break the silence of the forest, but she did it instead. "Are you clanborn?" she asked. Mousebrain! Shadowpaw thought. Why did I start this conversation again?

Bluepaw's eyes flashed in surprise, and hesitated for a moment. "Yes." She mewed, looking at Shadowpaw beside her. "But sometimes I wish I wasn't. It's boring, being clanborn. There's now big story to tell about where you cane from." She mewed in a thoughtful voice.

Shadowpaw shuffled her paws, then looked up. "I guess so, but you get glared at and talked about when you aren't clanborn, and not talked about in a happy way. I was rejected from every clan I went to." She looked back down again and watched her paws chase the ground.
