Pina grinned at Cocoa and Oliver. "Wait here a minute, I'm going to take this back to the cage!" She squeaked, bounding off with the unicorn charm clasped firmly in her mouth. She sprang up the drainpipe and hurried to the cage she shared with the other two; she scooted a little heap of bedding to the side, revealing a stash of gleaming bracelet charms. Pina smiled at the unicorn in her paw, shining it by rubbing it gently against her fur before placing it with the other charms. Covering the hoard up once more, she quickly groomed herself before zipping back to where Cocoa and Oliver waited for her.
In the meantime, Oliver had gone looking for a York wrapper or two, but with no success. "Guess no one has eaten one lately," he said to Cocoa. His mind wandered, and he imagined himself eating one of the mint patties...
Cocoa sighed. "Tsk, tsk," she muttered, leaving Oliver to daydream while she scampered back to the patch of grass where Pina had found that unicorn charm. She hoped to find a bit of glass for her collection, but there was not a shard to be found. Cocoa glanced over at Oliver to make sure he was fine, then she padded toward the stream, knowing that this was a good place for the glass.
