Ruby broke into a full-pelt gallop, racing past Ice as a brown blur. let's see how fast she can go Ruby thought.

Ice smiled and leapt into a run, easily pulling a head, legs winging across the ground. She pulled ahead. No horse had ever beaten her, though two had come close

Berlin kept an eye on bay, but stayed close to Violet. He snorted when he saw two figures racing towards the burned plains. The stallion watched them curiously.

Ruby snorted and ran faster, but it was clear that this mare was very fast. She slowed to a slow gallop, lenghtening her stride until she was cantering. She waited until Ice slowed too, then bolted off at a gallop again, grinning.

Ice didn't slow in the slightest, but instead rocketed forward after the Mare, flying over the earth and once again out ditancing her
