Ginger sighed and layed down and started gnawing on the leg bone she finished. And memories swam across her vision. {FLASHBACK} //Pup: "MOMMY!MOMMY!NO!!" The pup squealed as she was pushed down the canyon //Ginger: "NO!! SHIBA!" She hurled herself at the puma but it just knocked her backwards like nothing. //Boy pup: He whimpers in fear as the puma grabs for him, his mother Ginger lunges biting a chuck of meat off its flank but the Puma grabs him anyway "AHH" He claws feebly at the Pumas jaws "HELP!! DADDY!" His dad lays unmoving a few feet away. The puma throws the pup off the canyon //Ginger: "NOO!!" Anger swirls around her head making her vision red. She leaps on the Puma and it tumbles off the canyon. She runs to her Mate. "Hero? Hero?"// Hero: He looks up feebly "Ginger....i..please..save the pups" //Ginger: "But..hero..im sorry..but-" She couldnt stand to tell him. She knew he was going to die. She licked his fur slowly. Until his breathing slowed...then stopped. {BACK} She snapped up panting. "Hero..." she mumbled, over and over.

Ginger sighed. Ever since then she felt as if her heart was just a shrivelled black thing. And the only thing that could replenish it was love, but she hasnt been able to give any, and no one had given her any.
