Hazel eyes filled with worry and repeated "Rascal's mate?!" She shook the thought away He wouldn't have would he? She ran off not looking back at Emily.Her eyes filled with tears.

Scarlet looked at her "That is why Hazel ran off, They were best friends since they first met when they were both around 2-3 months and when Hazel asked if Rascal would be her mate, Kuma (Rascal's mother who died not long ago) said there was a law were older females arent allowed to be mates with a younger males so that broke Hazel's heart and recently Rascal has been spending more time with his mum (before she died) so Hazel let him. It must be a shock she let him grieve over his parents for a while to find he has a mate" Scarlet's eyes were full of worry.

Hazel sat by the mucky part of the lake and laid down her eyes red and swollen from crying. why? she asked herself why did i leave him for so long!!
