His stomach growled as he looked at the elk, they were fed well and were large, they would be enough to feed them and bring back for the rest of the back. Luke licked his mouth again, he could just taste the sweet meat of the elk, the blood running down his throat as he ate, it made him want to kill one even faster. But he knew he had to wait for the delta, she would tell him when to attack, it was not his place to call the shots.

Venus

Without a second thought, Venus began to wash Dawn. Grooming the confused fae, Venus started to tell her of her history and of the pack. She did her best to make it as real as she could. She told her pack sister how they caught a Caribou together last winter and how they had to take turns carrying it because it was so heavy. How Bosko led the pack through the harshest winter the forest had ever seen.

By the time she finished grooming her pack sister, Dawn was fast asleep. Softly padding out to where Bosko was standing, Venus watched her leader with sad eyes.
“It’s not your fault,” her voice cut through the tension in the air with ease letting her sweet voice reach his ears.
