Lone Stallion {Bachelor}~
Well, you have to start somewhere. All stallions are bachelors at first, living off of any grass they want. But their soul mission is to get a mare. They will court lone mares, or steal a mare from an already-established herd. Either way, they want the girl so they. After getting at least 3 mares, the bachelor will become a Lead Stallion of his herd.

Lone Mare~
Again, all mares will start as loners. Lone Mares are always on the lookout for the perfect stallion. He must suit them well. A Lone Mare wants to join and get courted by a stallion, for a herd provides safety. She will then become a Herd Mare.

Lead Stallion~
Now that a couple of mares have taken a liking to you, you have a herd. Protect those mares well though, the bachelors always want more. Be kind and treat your mares right. In the spring, you will mate with them ALL. But when you choose a Lead Mare, she will be your secret favorite.

Herd Mare~
Now that you have a herd, it's the easy life. Graze and gallop. But in the spring, you'll compete for the Lead Stallion's attention. And hopefully, impress him enough to get chosen as Lead Mare.

Lead Mare~
Wow, you must be special. As Lead Mare, you will never go of with another stallion. Your home has been set in stone. The Lead Stallion will mate with you more often, and a little less rarely than others, out of breeding season. Your job now is to chase out weaned colts and to make sure that no bachelor approaches without the Lead Stallion knowing about it:
