At this enquiry the mare smiled, raising her head a few inches as she considered her answer. When she got it however, she straightened up to look the stallion straight in the face. "I wouldn't know..." She paused for a moment or two, looking Sakima up and down. "I haven't met him yet."

Sakima snorted, acknowledging her reply. "I'm sure that you will very soon," he said. Sakima looked up. The moon was almost at its peak. That would mean that herds were permanent. He would need to impress this mare before then. But Sakima wouldn't chase her and make her surrender to him. This time, he would allow her the freedom to choose. Mabye.

Aislinn followed the stallion's gaze and looked up to the moon. What was he thinking? She returned her gaze to his face, a small frown forming on her own as she studied him. He was handesome; with, what she thought was, a rusty brown pelt. Though she could be mistaken in the light. And he seemed powerful; capable of protecting a herd, which she assumed he had. "I wish I were as optomistic as you..." She murmured, half to herself as she glanced down at the ground, a soft sigh slipping from her lips. It had been quite some time since she had recieved attention from a stud, and it was usually due to her scent.

Sakima shook his head. "We are all different, that's what makes up special," he said. Sakima had recited the words of that kind stallion so many years back. The red stallion looked at Aislinn. When should he ask her? Would she join him?

Aislinn admired the stallion for his words, but she still didn't quite believe it. Most horses she met seemed alike in some way or another. "We may be unique, but I doubt we're all special." She replied, an amused smile tugging at the corners of her mouth as she lowered her head once more; tugging at the green shoots of grass.

"Well I know you are," Sakima commented. He offered her a smile. "So, Aislinn," he said, "were you looking to join a herd?" The white spot on Sakima's head was illuminated. Its color matched that of the moon in the night sky.

Aislinn found her smile growing; she had expected him to ask at one point or another, but he found a way to ask it that wasn't as blunt or eager as other studs did. "Depends on who's asking..." She moved forward a few paces, confident enough to be close to Sakima. He seemed easy to trust, and kind enough; maybe even sweet. "Are you asking, Sakima?"

Aislinn considered this for a moment but turned away. In the end, stallions were all the same; all they wanted was another mare in their herds. And that was fine with her, but she preferred it if they tried a little harder. "It's a nice offer, but I'm afraid I like to think things through before acting on them..." She explained, stopping a few feet away and glancing back at Sakima. He was nice enough, but he seemed content with his herd at the moment and not too bothered about whether she joined or not.
