Cato had been brought back with the wisdom of a medicine tiger. He quickly brought the herbs needed. he used spiderweb, and honeysuckle to clean the wound. afterwards he used the tought web-like string from the oak tree heart to sew up the wound. he licked her cheek. "come back Amy, i did for you...come back" his voice was almost ghost-like.


Nixa had been taking care of Amy's leopard cubs while she was in despair. they had grown a lot. their hungry mews called for food

Nixa gave the cubs the rest of the rabbit before stepping out of the den. a wall of short rocks kept them inside. She padded to Dylan's den.

Amy gasped softly as she woke up. Her side hurt. She saw a tiger above her. "Kovu?" she asked. she nuzzled him softly.
