"Oh, ok. Well I mean hunting is sort of like fighting." Catara said. " But I suppose everyone has different strengths and weaknesses." she walked slowly.

He grinned sheepishly. "Yeah... I kind of have a problem with being quiet. Evvie doesn't have that problem, that's why I asked if you would mentor her." He flicked an ear, itching.

His ear flicked again, then he smiled widely. "Evvie's the best. You'll see. She kinda makes me want to have my own pups, you know? She's kind of lonely. Hey, who was that kid talking to her?" He rambled, unknowing.

"Um, it was probably Zeus, we don't have many pups around here so I mean he is practically the only one."

Zam frowned, tail not wagging for once. "Why are there no pups? Every pack should have pups, pups are everything... Did something happen?" was it a fire? A sickness? A late prey season? ... He hoped something terrible hadn't happened...

"Last summer a pack invaded. They killed some pups and took the rest." Catara said. "Zeus knew well though. He is Nuka's son and was trained well.

Zam cocked his head to the side and frowned. "Nuka? Who's Nuka? And now that I'm here I will never let a pack invade!" He stamped a paw. "I'll protect you guys! I'm a fighter, its all I'm good for, so I will help you! Just say the word!"

"Nuka is the leader of Aurora pack. After the loss of all of our pups we needed some badly so we took Zeus from them in the night." Catara explained.
