Zamael trotted back to the dens with bracken in his fur after another unsuccessful hunt, slightly disappointed but still in a cheery mood. He licked his sister between the ears and went to see Catara to see if there was anything she wanted him to do.

Catara sat by the fresh kill pile.

Ludicain trotted over to Catara and sat down near her. "Hello,'' he said kindly, tilting his head to the side, ''How are you today?''

Zamael's tongue lolled out playfully, even though he had nothing for Catara. "Sorry, Catara, I tried, I really did, but the darned thing slipped away from me." He cast a look at Lucidian, then ignored him.
