The city is a place of constant movement. People crowd the sidewalks rushing to their next destinations with a briefcase in one hand and a cell in the other. Very little attention is paid to their own surroundings, especially the dogs. Stray dogs are something that has becoming more and more of a problem in the big city. Growing in numbers, animal control is having trouble keeping up with them. Now they have started creating packs like there wild cousins. Instead of trees, they have the huge towering buildings many of which are abandoned. Their prey are trashcans and the random trash that clutters the alleyway. They constantly have to be wary of their surroundings, humans especially. Walking in the street is more often then not a death sentence, as very few will brake for a dog. It's a hard life in the forest of concrete and steel, yet they live in it everyday.
The City
The Warehouse- Just one of the many buildings that are now abandoned. It was used many years ago for holding palettes of various items. For whatever reason it became vacant, yet old broken palettes remain. Surprisingly well insulated it never gets to hot or cold. That is why the dogs chose to live in here. The back of the building is the old truck ports where they'd load and unload palettes. One of the doors seems like shut but a corner easily can be pushed open. There is a large main room where the dogs sleep, plenty of old covers and pillows. There is a whelping room for dogs who have young pups that cant walk on there own yet. There is also a cold room where food is stored for short periods of time.

The Alleys- The dogs hunting grounds. Many trashcans and dumpsters line the sides full of uneaten food. Be careful though if the people in the buildings hear you they will go after you.

The Park- There is only one small park in the city. The grass is soft, a very nice change to the hot pavement. There is a nice sized lake directly in the middle. This place can be very peaceful and fun. However Animal control knows the dogs enjoy this place very much and drives through often.

Main Square- One of the most busiest areas of the city. Several food vendors have carts here and if you dare you can risk your life getting some fresh food. You must remember the higher the concentration of people the higher chance of you getting caught.

The Garage- An abandoned parking garage. The dogs use this area to settle disputes on rank or anything else. Some dogs like to train here as well. Plenty of space to run without having to worry about people.

The Humans- Be wary of all people. Though some are genuinely nice many will capture dogs to have them taken as a bait or fighting dogs, or Capture them for animal control. The homeless are usually the kindest and will protect the dogs against animal control. Never attack the homeless. If you are being chased do not bring them to the warehouse. Never let humans know where the dogs stay.
The Main Street Pack
The pack consists of the average positions you'd see in wolf packs. What the alpha says goes and there isn't arguing with it. Betas are directly below the Alpha's. When the Alpha is gone or if both Alphas die, Beta's will run the pack. Guardians make sure no one gets into the warehouse that isn't welcome. Keeping it safe for the rest of the pack. They also must keep the peace with other dogs making sure no fights happen in the warehouse. Hunters gather food up for the pack, though many dogs get food on there own. These dogs are the most efficient at gathering food without any humans noticing. Silas and Koton are the Alpha's of the pack. They will not allow someone to join that they do not trust, making it sometimes difficult to join. However their pack is strong and loyal, depending on one another for survival.
