She walked over and sunk to the ground next to Kodak, laying her chin on her crossed paws and silently watching Ecru and Emerald.

Ecru

A shadowy expression settled on his visage. "Not much to tell." He replied stiffly..

"really? hmph seems like everybody else here has a horrible past" emerald repiled finally laying her tail flat

"My past was horrible...." He stalked past Emerald, frowning.

"oh yea mine was too" emerald said softly and walked beside him

She sighed when they disappeared from her sight and closed her eyes to sleep.

Ecru

"Was it now.." he said absent-mindedly, still frowning.

"yes it was very" emerald sighed

kodak smiled when chessa closed her eyes to sleep he laid his head down on her back

He kept silent, not knowing what to say next.

Chessa

She curled her head around so her chin was resting on his paws instead.

"well i guess you want me to tell you why it was horrible dont you?" emerald looked at him

He shrugged. "Sure. Why not."

The alphess licked her mate, looking down kindly at the pup before trotting out of the den quietly, her pale blue eyes sparkling in the sunlight. Her multi-hued fur sparkled like fresh-cut diamonds, and a soft, loving smile shone on her face.
