Roxanne went to the pond and waited for company to see her. She looked in her reflection and reminded herself that she would always be like this.

~* Rose *~

Rose finished her bone and stood up. She glanced around and bored, galloped in a sort of horse-like way away. She soon spotted another dog, Roxanne, and growled.


~* Austin *~

Austin looked around. He watched his sister leave and turned to go the opposite way from her.

Roxanne twisted her head towards Rose and stood tall. "What?" She asked, a bit confused.

Fang turned his glance away, and then stalked in front of the shop, his eyes narrowed as he thought of ways to get the meat in there. He looked through the clear door, and saw that so far, no one was in there. Perhaps the god was eating or outside gutting something? He could not be sure, but this was his chance. He pushed the door open with his massive body, and went inside the shop. He gazed over at the window, where some of the meat lay. It was too risky to steal from behind the counter, so he would steal from the meat hanging on hooks for display in the windows. Because he was larger than other dogs, he was able to grab a sausage link in his jaws, and pull it free after a few tugs. It was then the god came back, and when the god spotted Fang, he started yelling. Fang quickly dashed out the store, running away from the man as he chased after him. He stopped, when the god wasn't chasing him anymore. Fang snorted, and then sat down, and began to eat. He looked around, listening and watching to see if any other dog would try to come and steal his meal. But he knew he had to eat quickly, and so he ate as quickly as he could.

~* Rose *~

Rose growled. "Who are you?" She mentally was telling herself Be NICE! but her old puppy mill and dog fighting days had resulted in a fire within her that she could not control.


~* Austin *~

Austin waddled down an ally, looking for someone to talk to. He was a little overweight, even though his weight, last checked, showed him average weight for his breed.

Roxanne sighed. "Roxanne, or Roxy, or Ann, or Annie." She said simply, not really wanting to know the rude dogs name, but somehow got to ask anyway. "And you are?"

Rose's growl let up a bit, but you could still hear it in her voice. "Rose." She tried to stop it entirely, and for a change succedded. "Sorry about that, I was born at a puppy mill and raised in dog fighting. There it wasn't really friendly, so i haven't gotten used to normal greetings."

{POUND IS ABOUT TO OPEN!!!}

Roxanne smiled. "It's fine, and I like your name."

[MeganRosa]

Silver slowly and silently approached the dog when he finished half of the sausages. She had practiced this act many times before. "H-Hi..." She said, seemingly in a shy tone. "I haven't eaten in days... That was brave of you... Can you spare maybe just a half of a sausage link? Possibly a whole one?" She whimpered. If he refused, she supposed she'd have to fight.

Fang looked at her, and then snarled for her to go away. Often, Fang was not one to be kind or compassionate, for all he knew was that life was savage and evil, trying to take down one after another. He was abused so many times back, he had become more savage than Mother Nature had intended him to be. And if Silver decided to fight him, he would spare no mercy. Even if a pup or not, he was still an enemy of his kind and will always be. Besides, if other dogs were as to so much approach him, then they would at least be able to get their own food, by fighting, scavenging, hunting, or whatever so it might have been.
