Nadi was hot on the trail. He found the mouse in the grass. "I found it!" He took it in his mouth and started to head towards Bubbles. Then he heard Mink's roar, folowed by Kamau's. He dropped the mouse a secound time and looked at Bubbles. "Sounds like there is more fighting. What should we do?"

Senya tensed up as she heard the roars. Again she was presented with the question again. Should she stay or try to leave. Senya did not know what to do. So she ran to find her cub.

Chasm got sight of the group. He could tell this was not going to end well. He sat and watched from the side.

Bubbles meowed scarily, her mom was not here.
Tropical picked her up"Calm little sister"he soothed her.
Mirage nudged Chasm"Hide in the bushes"she whispered.

Kamau growled at Mink"Sure"he said with sarcasm. He glanced at his brother"This is the dim witted lion that turned my pride against me"
Fera snarled"I could kill him easy"
Silver snarled at his two cubs"Do and youll lose you heads"

Chasm nodded and went to hide in the bushes.

Senya caught the scent of her cub. She ran to him. She picked him up in her mouth. "Where are we going?" Nadi asked as he was being picked up. Senya gave a muffled answer. "We are going to go support Mink." Senya headed of in the direction of the river.

Bubbles burst out crying when she saw Nadi leaving"You said you would protect me, but if your gone you cant do that!"her eyes were full of water as she cried and she curled in a ball as Tropical carried her.
Tropical bent down to look at her"What is wrong?!"

Senya carried her cub closer to the river. Nadi was in her mouth. He to found himself crying. "I'll come back! I promise!"
Senya got closer to the river. She set Nadi down. "Stay here. I'll come and get you, and don't go back for Bubbles. She is fine." Senya turned and started to the group. She paused when she caught sight of them. Senya held her head up cofindently and walked closer.

Bubbles shook her head, crying"Forget it, YOU LIED TO ME!!"she screamed at Nadi then looked up at Tropical"Let us leave"she whimpered. Bubbles curled into a ball and stayed like that.
Tropical nodded and ran towards the place Mirage had kept them when they were cubs.

Nadi sat down confused. He did not know what to do. He was caught between his two loves. His mother and Bubbles, both equally important to him. So he just sat and cried being able to do nothing else.

Senya came and stood next to mink. "Kamau, you time is over. Just let us go."

Kamau snarled and his unusually long fangs showed.
Fera stood by his brothers side and snarled viciously.

Silver sat down to watch.
